Welcome to the Colorguard Lounge!
My name is Squawk and I spent quite some time questing for this money, but I think it is all going to be worth it in a few short days (when I have time to make this place look better and such, you know how it is).
My band camp starts today so bare/bear (which is it? o.O I need sleep) with me while this place gets its makeover very soon.
So go ahead a post a bit about yourself here so we can get to know everyone and thanks for joining!

Hey everyone! Um.. This is my second year in the guard... Guard is my life. It's as simple as that. Well.. that and school, I suppose.. Um.. I'm 15... Sophomore in highschool.. I'm on the flag corp, and I'm going to be on rifle line next year. There's no sabre line at my school, but if there was I'd try out for it, too. And that's all I can think of now.. If you wanna know more, just ask me!

Eh, well, I'm not a colorguard-er, but I'm best friends with FlagTosser, we've known each other for about ten years...
I probably don't have the stamina to do colorguard, but it seems really cool.
I'm glad to help out this guild in most any way possible!
In my world, art = my life. Music, especially. I'm into drumming, singing, and some guitar... Plus, I draw a LOT. biggrin
The most athletic stuff I've done is horseback riding and basketball.

yay! its up now!
okay so i just started my 2nd year in color guard today.....im a sophmore now....still 14....and my band director is no fun and thinks that sabres and rifles promote violence so we dont use those....just flags! our show this year is umm....i dont know the names of all the songs but like most of the show is fast! fast=me happy x3 my guard just got a new coach and shes changed some stuff....LIKE THE HOURS FOR OUR PRACTICES! YEAH! she let us out 2 and a half hours early today because our choreographer wasnt ready AND she buys us stuff from giant because we arent allowed off campus....my guard/band is called the "death star" by others because we never lose....we eat other marching bands for breakfast! virginia only created a band hall of fame because of us! okay i'll stop talking about that....
oh and sqawk....if you need any help with the guild, i'd be glad to! ^^

Hey y'all! X3 Well yupps, this is my second year in guard, already lettered last year. ^-^ Guard is the best sport EVERER, and if anyone tells you otherwise, whack them in the shins with a sabre. Trust me, it hurts. ^-^
I could go on and on and on and ON about how much I LOOOOOOVE colorguard, but no one really wants to hear that, because if you're in this guild you prolly love it that much too. ^-~
Our show this year is Seasons, the music is so BEAUTIFUL, Swanny showed it to us today. (Erk ... "Mr. Swanson" is the band director. He rocks, so we call him Swanny. O-o) We are gonna ROCK this year ... Unbeatable JV Winter last season |-high fives Squawk-| ANND we have sabres in the first piece!! |-jumps for joy-| Though no one gave me a sabre to practice tonight ... T-T Anyways, you're probably tired of reading this long of a post, so I'm gonna cut it off. PM me if you wanna be a guardie friend!! <3

We're doing music from Earth Wind and Fire this year. It's kinda cool. The songs we're doing are "In the Stone", "After the Love is Gone", "September", "Let's Groove", and "Shining Star". 'Tis really cool.. We had our first game tonight.. We marched "In the Stone" and stood there for "After the Love is Gone"... We all kinda sucked.. But don't the first games always suck? xd It'll get better, I'm sure!

Hi everyone! Name''s Lo. I''m a "colorguardie" as we call em''. I''ve done colorguard for two years and love it. Guard is the best sport, and it is a sport. I''m tired or everyone telling me that it isn''t and that were one below cheerleaders.
Squak-- I was reading your post about the avatars, and I have made a saber but I haven''t added it on to mine because I have no clue how mad . Awesome idea for a guild!

LoFaerie Squak-- I was reading your post about the avatars, and I have made a saber but I haven't added it on to mine because I have no clue how mad . Awesome idea for a guild! Oh, my problem isn't that I don't have an image, it's that I can't make it look as clean as I would like. I am working on it, though, so never fear! I'm working on it and choosing which of the limited poses we have to work with and what looks best. I'm getting there! PROMISE!

Well, I guess I'm supposed to introduce myself hmm?
Hey peeps, what's up? I'm pretty much a newbie here but I've been in guard for the past 3 years (this season is my third). My squad kicks some BUTT and even though we always have drama, I seem to be so addicted to guard that I always go back no matter what ^^;

I know I haven't been replying to the intro threads (bad Squawk, bad) but I am so happy that I actually have found other people into guard! I was afraid, because I was unable to find more than 5 people interested. This rocks!

I'm a freshman in college, and this will be my 5th year in guard. In my old HS, St. Thomas More, I was on weapon line, but thats no accomplishment because we only had 8 people, so EVERYone was on weapon line. And I'm on rifle line in college, but thats also no real accomplishment as my college guard sucks. We just finished band camp, and our show this year is Broadway. All I know is that we have a Phantom of the Opera song (Phantom is possibly the only thing I like more than colorguard). You'll also find that I'm very...odd. I blame colorguard for this and expect you all to be odd also. Oh, and my name isn't Erin Sovenya (lol) just call me Criddle, everyone else does.

Hey everyone! Thought I might as well introduce myself since I'm a new member in this guild. I've been spinning for 9 years now...wow, that's a long time. I started in 7th grade with my Junior/Senior High School Marching band and was thrilled when I was accepted to a college that had an amazing marching band. This past summer, I had my first experience in a Div. III Drum and Bugle Corps. It was a lot of work, but it definitely paid off when we were given the title of Division III world champs! Hmm...what else to say...Guard is a huge part of my life. It's taught me so much and I've met a lot of wonderful people through it. I love the sigs with the rifles and flags...so pretty!
