Topic: Has anyone ever had a crush on a teacher?
Yer, I know it's not much to say, but discussions usually build on over time. The question has been on my mind for a while. And I admit, I do have one, but I don't know if it'll pass. I hope so. What about you?

Okay. It seems like people have had crushes on their teachers. I'm currently crushing my religion teacher, and it's a little weird, but I'm usually close to my religion teachers anyway(I attend a Catholic school). It's probably my first teacher crush, since most teacher I knew were old and/or female. I wouldn't be surprised if another person had a crush on him. Every one thinks he's cool and look up to him. It's bad that I have a boyfriend, but still crush other guys (maybe it's normal for a 16 year old *shrugs*).
On a more interesting note. What do you think about these crushes? Do you think you or another person have crushes on older people (like teachers) because they possess qualities people your age don't have? Etc.

Can't say I've ever had a crush on a teacher when I was in school. I've had teachers I really liked, like my latin treacher, but no a 'crush' like.

I had a crush on my 10th grade english teacher, (kinda sorta still do even after 10 years). He's good looking, smart, and down to earth- I thought about asking him out a few years ago but umm he and I were both in the military and he was officer and I was enlisted u.u and he was only about 10 years older than me.

Vi Degral I had a crush on my 10th grade english teacher, (kinda sorta still do even after 10 years). I had a crush on a teacher when I was 12. Everytime he got near me I got all red faced and shy.
He was very sweet and was what more teacher's today should be...never willing to take advantage of a student.

Wow, interesting question. I have had a crush on my World Civics teacher for a long time, because she was a young attractive woman who felt compassion for those around her. She sees me more as a younger brother though. xp
Anyway it happens, but I don't think that these crushes last that long, especially with people your own age running around you.

Hmm, I had a medieval history teacher who was completely awesome and hot as hell...but I don't think I ever had a crush on her. I've felt mildly embarrassed around her but it was just because an intelligent and good looking woman in the field I am interested in was smiling at me, not that I had lingering feelings towards her other than respect.
Else than that I've only had male teachers, severely older teachers or teachers I found unattractive in either body or mind.

The age difference doesn't bother you? When I have a crush on someone I can picture us together, can you do that your teacher? Maybe I just can't picture these things with anyone outside a 5-year range of my age...

The older you get the less the age difference matters, but 5 years will still be quite a difference 'till you are well into your twenties.

The older you get the less the age difference matters, but 5 years will still be quite a difference 'till you are well into your twenties. Of course, that's why it's odd for a student to have a crush on a teacher. I should be more specific about my age range. I'd date someone who is no more than 5 years older, and no more than 2 years younger. It's not really that much, then again it depends on the person.

Ive actually had a job where I worked with another employee who was twenty-nine at the time, we kinda flirted with eachother back and forth (yes hes single XD). I guess I saw him more mature than my age (I was nineteen at the time). Eh it was just a crush, nothing happned between us and we just moved on. xP

Yes! My 8th grade math teacher.
He was basically everything a girl would look for in a man:
Nice, funny, mature unlike the ten-year-old dickheads I knew stare
And he was drop dead sexy even though he was, like, twice my age.
Mid to late twenies methinks...
I guess that's why I had a crush on him.
He was so much more mature than the boys my age and I liked that.
And he was easy to get along with.
Actually, I'm still attracted to older men.
