His breathing was heavy from the run he'd just had, but he didn't care... She was close, he could smell her...how he wanted to save her...to make her understand. Numai turned a corner slowly, his paws making a slow 'pat, pat' on the dirt path as he followed his mother's scent. He did love her...He did. But she was stupid. She was an idiot with the way she acted...

"There..." He said softly, smirking. He stood straighter and taller, walking toward her. "Hello Mother...." He murmured softly, walking toward her in more of a stalk, as if he was coming closer to his prey. "How have you been lately?"

Numai snorted. "Of course I've grown...I'm not the child like you keep trying to disillusion yourself into thinking I am." He walked toward her, around her, his muscles rippling under his loose skin. He was large...He'd been eating well, that was for sure, but he wasn't fat...He used this extra weight to his advantage when hunting...and when fighting.

"How is....the family?" He asked, His voice cold...commanding an answer. He wanted attention and respect and his voice nearly demanded it from the person he spoke to. "Have Lavona's wounds healed nicely?" He smirked, his eyes flashing. He loved the memory of the fight he'd been in with his sister...He'd been weak then...And she'd left her mark on him. Wounds...scars hidden beneath his sleek, healthy coat. But he'd grown...He'd left as a young adult and now he was at the peak of power as a fully grown male. She wouldn't stand a chance against him now....

Numai nodded, smirking. "Thats good..." He murmured, his eyes lighting up a little. "One would hate for her to be permanently marred by her....foolish mistakes." He shook his head, then stopped in front of her. "Come with me...take your place where you should, by my side, as my supporter." He shook his head, glaring at her slightly. "You will have no place once I've taken these lands over, mother...unless you are by my side."

He shook his head, then started walking around her again. "You know dad is a weakling mother....hew can't protect you forever...and he can't protect you and the family...someone will be left open, and you'll loose them...But if you come with me...Mother, I can protect you....I can train our family to fight and protect you...to protect each other...." He smiled darkly. "We'll be a family...we'll take over these lands together under my watch...we'll have everything..." His eyes, now glowing with a light not seen in sane creatures eyes, widened slightly.

"Mommy...please come with me...Don't make me have to hurt you..." Numai whispered softly, though his voice was still breaking with soft growls. He stopped at her side, his mouth only inches from her ear. "I don't want to hurt you, mother....I want you to support me...be there for me...Come with me, mom...please?"

Numai growled angrily, the hair along his back standing up. "You'd divide our family in such a way, mother?" He hissed, stalking toward her as she backed away from him. "You'd condemn all your offspring..present and future to a life of hell and ultimately death?!" He snorted, his eyes darkening with rage. "What a mother to have...Such a weak fool. You'll pass me your young, dead or alive....willingly or by force!"

He roared, striking out at her. "I'll not battle against my brothers and sisters! You'll not taint my bloodlines anymore with that weakling you've condemned me to share blood with!" He struck out at her again, his claws extended as he moved in to aim a bite at her neck.

Numai stalked toward her, his eyes narrowed. "I'll not have you turning against me..." He growled. His mouth hug open, ready to use his fangs as needed as saliva dripped from his panting tongue. "Mother....why? Why won't you support me?" He shook his head, growling in anger. "I'm your child....Your son! I'm the only one that will amount to anything, and you can not bare helping me at all?!"

Numai shook with rage, his eyes tearing slightly. "I want you to come with me, mother....face the weak and destroy the ignorant with me...Make this our world, the world we'll rein over together as a family!" He shook his head, stopping a few feet from Gardenia. "But...If you will not come with me...Then you leave me no choice...." He looked her in the eyes, his own wide with insanity. "I'll kill you if I have to....I'll tear you to sheds!" He jumped at her, aiming another bite for her neck as his claws aimed for her shoulders and sides.

Numai growled, jumping at her again. He hissed as she took off, ultimately slamming head first into the tree Denia'd been against. "Damn it!!" He roared again, taking off after her, his large body easily tearing through bushes and plant life, though the tree density slowed him down. He wasn't as sleek and agile as his mother was, he had to actually maneuver his way around the trees.

Eventually, he lost sight of her, which sent him into a frenzy. "Come back, Mother!" He yelled, his fangs barred in anger and disgust. "I said come back, here!!!!!" He started slashing at trees angrily, tearing the bark off and leaving huge claw marks in them. It seemed like forever had passed before he finally fell down in the dirt, bark, and leaves, his anger and energy spent on destroying everything he could get his claws into that was around him. "I'll kill you..." Numai hissed softly. "You'll pay...for abandoning me...."

Mizuki blinked, his head shooting up from where he'd been fishing, the fat trout he'd caught still in his mouth. Denia? He took off after her voice, dropping the fish further up the hill as he went. "Denia?! Denia what's wrong?" He called, searching for her till he found her. "Denia?" He asked, looking concerned. "What's happened? Denia, are you okay?"

Mizuki shook his head, moving to stand over her and look around, scanning for danger over her cries before l laid down with her, nuzzling her. "Denia, calm down...whatever it is, it's gone....there's nothing wrong now.." He licked her tears away. "Shhhh....please calm down...your safe now, I promise..." He whispered softly, his voice gentle.
