The wide open space of the sky. Post here for dog fights, or if you are flying, falling, or doing something outside your ship that is not on a Island.

A large ship slowly made its way across the sky, a lumberous scow of a ship that looked like a horrendous conglomerate of bits and pieces of scrap metal. Bits of old airships, a cruise liner, and what looked like escape pods along the top end. All of it was slightly rusted chrome and blue paint, phosphor, and glass. All of it was centralized about a 100-foot ship that looked like a fighter ship from another planet. It was black, but reflected light in indigo that made it look like a dark mirror. The inside of the ship looked like it was pulled out of a sci-fi show. There was a short upper level with two stairs arcing to the lower floor. Between the two staircases was a console, and at that console was bolted an enormous recliner. In that recliner was an average-sized Taudri, but he was anything but average. He was lounging sideways in his seat, one leg over an arm of the chair. He wore a black chestplate, on which was a blood-red eagle. He had a greenish crystal dangling from his ear, and he was waving a finger in the air while humming tunelessly. All of a sudden, an alarm sounded and the ship lurched violently to the left. The captain, Hawk, was flung out of his chair into the window that arched over the control room and saw the broken end to one of the propellers fall into the nothingness below. His eye twitched. "Elvira! Next time you decide to do something sudden like that, warn us!" A girl in a circular console looked up with a bland expression on her face. "Now turning sharp left," she said in a computer-like voice. "We nearly breached the Scion's sensory field." She returned to the console, working buttons with gauntleted hands. Hawk stared at her in disbelief. He shook his head violently and flopped down in his seat again. "Damnit, Kor, keep your sister on a leash." A guy with a helm on snorted without looking up. Translation: Easier said than done. "Let's just hope they didn't notice us," Hawk muttered.

((just thought about how ships are supposed to get in contact of one another if they are in different threads. sweatdrop Maybe I should move the Scion events to here. Are you an Obsidian, then?))
Zanorah's attention was turned back to the board. She frowned at the radar, swearing to herself that she had just noticed something flash across it for a split nanosecond. She shook her head. It must still be too early. Her mind was playing games on her eyes. Letting out a long exhale from her nose, she eased into a nearby seat. She began a routine check of coordinates and the airship's functions. In the back of head, behind the almost instinctive motions, she was reviewing plans and strategies. Leonna had appeared on their radar and was just visible on the horizon. They would be docking in an hour or so.

((Former. Ish. He isn't entirely sane enough to take orders. I sort of explained it in his bio.))
Hawk chewed on a thumbnail for a bit, hoping that the falling prop didn't trigger any sensors. It was probably too small, anyway, he told himself. It probably registered as a bird, or something. He sighed in a half-relaxed fashion and kicked a leg back over the arm of his chair and flicked his tail. He pointed imperiously toward the city. "Onward to the docks, then!" "Yes, sir, captain, sir," the mechanic replied in a sarcastic faux-British voice, turning in his chair and saluting with his left hand on purpose. "Shall we all get dolled up, then?" "Oh, shut it, Torrie. I get enough of that from Elvira."
