Maybe I should have visited this subforum a LONG time ago... XD
Anyway, I watch videos on YouTube for UC. It's looks SO good! The only Wii game I've played so far is Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but UC looks like so much fun! (Though, I don't like shooters very much.) I have some questions about how the story fits with the already established AND speculated storyline. Anybody else interested?

Hey SoraMee! If you want to know more about this game from someone who actually owns it, you can PM one of our members here, her user name is chippbogard and she can tell you stuff about it. 3nodding

(Though, I don't like shooters very much.) I have some questions about how the story fits with the already established AND speculated storyline. Anybody else interested? I have the game, and as an RE fan I can tell you the story is basically one big joke. They made Wesker into the catwoman (his voice I mean), and they went with the whole "tyrant impaled me" BS instead of the good ending in REmake that set up his survival so much better. I'd say the game is fun, but if you typically don't like shooters you won't find much redeeming qualities in this. I personally got super-interested because they were finishing the fall of Umbrella plot, but they ******** it up bad. REAL bad. It's like a saturday morning cartoon with RE characters. There are a few moments that are cool, but for the most part you'll be relying on gameplay a million times more than story. PS: They completely RUINED Nemesis. Almost as bad as the one in the movie.

Well, at least it's not worse than in the movie... rolleyes Oh brother! That would have been awful. It would have made the game just a pile of garbage...

Well it's debatable. For me nothing can ever surpass movie Nemesis' sacrilege, because he cries and becomes good... He sounds and moves worse in the game then he did in the movie, he just never became a Steve wannabe. I can forgive it though, because the game is fun, and has tons of unlockables.

I see... Well, at least you can judge that cuz you've been able to play more than one RE game. I've only played the first one so I can't really say... rolleyes

Comments about 'The Darkside Chronicles'?
I have played a bit of UC, and I'll say it goes too fast for me. Maybe I need to get better. I haven't tried the Wii Zapper.

Darkside Chronicles? Sorry, no. I don't even know what that one is about!
So, you haven't tried the Wii Zapper yet? I believe the folks at Club Nintendo Magazine said that the game of UC was a bit easier when they used that device. I wonder if there are places that rent the Zapper thingy. Are there any in yer area SoraMee?

You would think so, since I live in NYC. But, alas, none that I can see/find. My friend has the Zapper, though, and UC, so I tried the game at her place, but we played together and she used the Zapper while I used the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. It is a fascinating game to watch. Maybe I need practice.

Gee, that's too bad. And you live in NY!? Have you ever tried to get in touch with Shi_yatsu and Chippbogard? They live over there too! Maybe the next time you visit her, you can get to use the Zapper while she uses the Wiimote + Nunchuk combo. BTW, how come you say that it's fascinating to watch? I don't seem to understand that...
