^Tomoshibi Headquarters Surroundings^As said before, the Tomoshibi Headquarters is surrounded by a bamboo forest. It has a small trail going through it, just wide enough for one person to walk through, that leads to the lake where the Tomoshibi headquarters resides. The bamboo forest looks like this. The lake around the Headquarters looks like this.

Tyrae appeared at the edge of the lake. She bent down and looked at her reflection in the water, her eye in particular. It didn't look any different. Satisfied, she sat down at the edge of the water, her Tomoshibi cloak sat in a messy pile beside her on the grass. Tyrae picked up a small stone and tossed it towards the water. It skipped twice before sinking, which left multiple ripples in the water.

Making her way through the bamboo forest, the woman gazed at the beauty in the place. This was one of the few places the Akatsuki hadn't destroyed yet. Scoffing, Amaya looked at the clearing and lake in front of her, noticing the woman resting at the edge of the water. The kunoichi bowed slightly, recognizing her, before sitting down near the lake.

Tyrae nodded her head in response. She gave a small smile and leaned backwards on the grass. After about a minute, she looked over at Amaya and asked, "So how are you doing?"

The woman turned, listening to the question. "Well, I'm doing fine, if we can call it that..." she said, shrugging slightly. No one could be completely fine with the Akatsuki ruling. "How about yourself? Any news?" Amaya didn't risk saying anything that could compromise the Tomoshibi; yes, they were in a "safe" place, but no one could be too careful these days.

"I'm also pretty good I guess," replied Tyrae. "As for news," she continued, "there isn't anything extremely important yet. But I have a feeling there will be soon." The Akatsuki had disscovered that the Tomoshibi exist, and had been more troublesome lately. She wasn't expecting it to get any better very quickly though. "But you know what I did find out?" she added with a smile. "It helps not to wear our Tomoshibi cloaks anywhere other than here. The Akatsuki know what they look like, and can spot us anywhere when we have them." She felt as though she was stating the obvious, but Amaya did ask if there was anything new.

A tired sigh came out of the kunoichi's lips hearing the words: "...there will be soon." By the leader's tone, those didn't seem good news at all. The tension in the air was quickly lifted hearing Tyrae's last comment. The woman stared blankly at her own uniform and returned the smile. "I'll take that in consideration" she answered. Well, the Akatsuki had spies everywhere and anywhere, so it was no surprise they knew how they looked like. It was sad, though, she was suppose to wear that cloak without fear of being taken down, without having to glance back nervously with every step she take. Amaya couldn't wait for the Akatsuki to be destroyed. The woman sighed once more, laying her back on the tall grass. "You know, Leader sama, sometimes I wish all this was just a bad nightmare..."

For a moment, Tyrae pictured herself waking up one day to find that the Akatsuki no longer existed, and everything was the way it used to be before they took over. It seemed so nice. She reluctantly snapped back to reality. "I wish it were too. In fact, I'm almost certain everyone does. But we can't just wish it away now that its here. We're going to make it go away." Everyone had given up hope. The Tomoshibi were the only people willing to try and make a difference. If they couldn't do it... Tyrae didn't even want to think about what would eventually happen. "You know, it's almost like the world's way of telling us that we're the last hope." On a bit of a lighter note, she sarcastically added, "No pressure."

Amaya laughed heartly, listening to the last comment. The woman sighed, taking back the air in, brushing away one tear from laughing. She looked down, staring at the grass. Cutting one dandelion, the woman muttered: "Last hope, hn?" The woman twirled the plant in her fingers, lost in thoughts. "We won't let all these people down..." Amaya finally said.

Tyrae watched the dandelion as Amaya was off in her own thoughts. "Thats for sure," she agreed. A small breeze went by, gently blowing a few of the flowers that were growing in a scattered formation around the grass. Tyrae spotted her Tomoshibi cloat in a rather messy pile to her right. She picked it up and folded it properly before setting it back down again.

Walking along the far edge of the lake, Mika gazed at the headquarters. she wondered how things would progress, seeing as how he Akatsuki had taken notice. So far, all she has been sent to do were minor solitary information retrieval missions, so she had yet to meet her partner. Actually, the only one she had even talked to so far was Leader. She tended to avoid most people, mainly because they avoided her. Maybe that would change now. She sighed and sat down, closing her eyes, wondering if this battle would ever get moving. As she opened her eyes she saw Leader-sama talking to someone. She caught something about "last hope". Boy isn't that the truth. She stood up and sighed again. Might as well try and make friends. She walked over to Leader, and bowed before sitting down about 3 feet away. "So, anything new?"

Tyrae looked over at her as she sat down with them. "Hey Mika." She had seen her sit down a little farther off, and was glad she decided to come over and talk with them instead of staying there. "There's always something new. But nothing extremely important at this moment. The Akatsuki haven't stirred up much trouble yet. Kinda makes you wonder huh?" She glanced over at Amaya who was focused on the dandelion. "The two of you haven't met yet have you?"

Mika gazed up at the sky. "No, I don't believe we have met yet. I haven't met anyone other than you, Leader-sama." Mika turned her attention to the other woman, noticing her deep purple eyes and short white hair. "I am Ookami Mika , and you are...?"

The woman blinked, taking her eyes from the flower from the first time. Daydreaming was becoming more and more frequent these days. "Hn...? Oh, I'm Susuki Amaya." she answered sheepishly. The kunoichi hadn't even notice there was someone else with them. That's dangerous, what if this was a battlefield...? Amaya metally scolded herself. Looking at the girl, she gave a small smile. She looked younger than herself, much younger. "Nice meeting you."

Tyrae smiled looking from one to the other. "Oh! And I just realised something. Since you've never met before, I guess you don't know. The two of you are partners." She hoped that they would both be okay with it. They've only know eachother for a very short period of time.
