Well forcing at gunpoint, life-or-death, kinda thing but they're making things that can only be acquired through donation and then the prices in the MP are so high that it would have more then 10 hours a day online to earn enough. On top of which, they're rewarding people with cash with gold because the prices = major gains in gold. It's not that we need the items but fun items are kinda the point around here and making them so difficult to get is annoying.
Plus, they've just added a pay-per-view movie application. If that's not an indication that Gaia's sold out I don't know what is rolleyes

Yeah, you're right. It is getting pretty ridiculous. I remember when there where barely adds on gaia...
I do hope they keep the battle game free though! I'd stick around for that!

I hope for the same but I seriously doubt it'll happen. People have been waiting for the battle system for SO long and therefore, it'll be popular at least for the first part. Not advertising would be foolish from their business POV.

Exactly, and seeing as how Gaia seems to be getting bigger and bigger and more well known, larger companies will be willing to spend more the gain such a lucrative outlet to so many young people. It's a damn shame is what it is.
I feel so old, like I should be sitting on a porch yelling at the young'uns to stay of me darn lawn!

I say we buy up all the canned ravioli and bottled water and live in the guild until everyone outside has been corrupted and dealt with accordingly. Then we can start anew with go-gaia.com 3nodding
