Matt brushed the snow off of his scarf and pushed the door closed, he'd never wanted to be warm this bad in his entire life. "Looks like I'm the first to show up to this place...Oh well, might as well get the fire started." he said. Putting his laptop down, he lit a small fire in the fireplace and laid next to it, grabbing his laptop and turning it on. "Time to get to work on the brigade!

Zanep had saw the cabin growing in the distance. Now leaning on the wall next to the door, he decided to wait awhile here. "Where there's shelter, there is bound to be life." He sat and waited for another soul, smelling the burning wood inside and hoping the cabin's resident wouldn't mind having a temporary doorman.

Matt looked up suddenly. "I wonder what that was..." he said, closing the laptop and setting it on the couch by the fire. He walked over to the door and opened it. He quickly saw a man with his back to the cabin, looking like he was on the watch. He couldn't tell if he was still alive, until he saw the man blink. "Hey buddy, why not come in and relax? I'll fix you some cocoa and something to eat. You name it!"

The man stood up, and looked at the supposed owner of the cabin. "Thank you, that would be nice." He followed the other inside, and took a seat close to a frosted window. "If it isn't a problem, I wouldn't mind some spiced tea."

"Sure, just give me a sec!" he said, walking over to the stove and putting on the kettle. "I love to cook and make things. While you're here feel free to ask for anything, I'll do my best to help out!" he continued, pouring the tea into a mug and handing it to him. "Hope this is okay. Drinks aren't really my specialty. I'm more of a baker." he said, fixing himself another glass of cocoa. "Hopefully we'll have more guests soon, but until we do, feel free to check out the books in the book cases, or use the laptops i have lying around."

He blew the steam off the cup, then watched as more sprang up to replace it. "Thank you. Luckily, I'm not to bad with drinks. Maybe I'll help out if the need should arise for something other than tea and coco." He sipped the tea, then set the mug down on the floor next to his chair. "Not bad. I like mine with a bit more pepper, but otherwise not bad at all." He glanced towards the books, and searched for a title he recognized. "Nice and cozy here. Though, it seems a little out of the way. How long have you had this cabin?"

"I actually just bought it not too long ago. I needed somewhere to go and relax, though i'll probably relocate one of these days.." he said, pushing the scarf under his mouth while he untied it so that it dangled over his shoulders. "Glad you like the tea. I've thought about opening up a bar/restaurant up here, but I'm not sure if it'd have enough customers."

He stares out the window, and chuckles as he pictures the cabin as a bar. "Well, the Yetis would appreciate the gesture." He sips the tea as he gets up to examine the books in the room.

He looked around, looking at the door, and then to the fireplace. "Heh, yeah. This never really seemed like a good place, but its nice and calm. I just hope it's not too out of the way for most people." he said, thinking.

Picking a random book from the shelf, he returns to his window seat. "Heh, maye you should have posted a sign somewhere along the way. Just to let people know that there is refuge out here. "

Sophie made her way to the cabin, the only shelter she'd found for a few miles, and knocked quietly on the door. After waiting for a few minutes, she slowly opened the door, poked her head inside and called out "Hello? is anyone there?"

Zanep Walked to the door and whispered just loud enough to be heard outside "What's the password?" He waited a secornd or two, and then whispered again "Try 'I'm cold.' That should get you in."

"Please excuse me, I was out birdwatching when it really started to come down out there and there was nowhere else around." Sophie explained as she stumbled through the door, carrying a small bag filled with books. "Is this your cabin?"

"No, I'm in the same boat as you." Zanep leads the newcomer over to the warmest chair. "Would you like something warm to drink?"

As Gigi wonders threw the snow she sees a small flicker of light of in the distance she manages to run over to the cabin, she gave a small knock on the door before passing out from the cold.
