Okay, so, obviously we're all well-versed in the fandom, and we've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly fanworks. However. This thread is not to b***h about how there's no good Trozai pictures, or how this one fandom-branch PISSES YOU OFF, I just want to hear about the certain things that apply to most/all branches' works that just piss you the hell off.

One thing that reaaaally gets to me is pairing-raping. By this, I mean taking a clip, screenshot, or WHATEVER from a certain pairing, and photoshopping or editing or strategically placing it in an AMV so it appears to support another pairing. Now, I don't mind you having your own pairings. Diversity is fun! However, I HATE it when people rape other people's pairings to satisfy their own. Yes, it even pisses me off when someone rapes a thing to get a Tokka video. Believe me, when Sokka's in the equation, there are a LOT of dazed looks. It's like, I'm all for Tokka, but I don't want to see Sokka getting all blushy over Yue in my Tokka video. I want genuine Tokka! I want scenes from episode 206 ONWARDS! It also annoys me when people photo-manip, oh, I dunno, Maiko kisses or Kataang kisses into Zutara kisses. Get a grip, people. If it's going to happen, it will happen, BE FCKING PATIENT.

Another thing that annoys me is gratuitous OOCness. It's like, if you need the characters to be OOC to be good together, IT AIN'T GON' HAPPEN. It's just... very frustrating to me when people don't respect the work that went into developing and designing these characters, and just use them to their own desires. Can you really call yourself a fan if you don't respect the characters? No, you can't.

Generally, when people don't respect the show and characters and just rape them to accomplish some dumbass fan-work.

How about you guys? Do you feel the same? Do you think I'm wrong? Do you have other things that piss you off?

If there is one thing I hate is character deformation. Mostly physical deformation. I'll take deviantart as an example because...that's the only place I go to look for fanart.
You have no idea how many screenshots edited in MSpaint I've had to report. Using a screenshot and claiming it as your work is what's reportable, but dear lord, can't these people do something else besides blowing up Katara's breasts? or any other female's, for that matter? And how do those things end up in the popular section? D:<
And, again with screenshots, I dislike the ones that are edited to put two characters in a romantic situation. Sometimes they're not even edited, but the user gives an explanation of how it's 'proof' said characters are involved romanticaly...If you squint really very hard. : | (case in point: http://pics.livejournal.com/sora_ko/pic/000s1fb8 )

Screenshots passing off as fanart in general pisses me off.
