Casting for extras in POTC II and III are going on now. You must be 18 or older. See Pirates of the Caribbean Fandom for more info.

Really? 18 or older? XD ever though Kiera was only 17 when she got casted with a main role.

A teacher from my elementary school was an extra in PotC I... *feels odd saying I(1) considering the others arn't even in theatres yet* In the begining when the crazy pirates invade the happy little town, she's the lady that runs screaming at the camera while Sir Hawtness is hidding behind the blacksmith statue dude.
My writting is so... vague.

Teh Fluffy A teacher from my elementary school was an extra in PotC I... *feels odd saying I(1) considering the others arn't even in theatres yet* In the begining when the crazy pirates invade the happy little town, she's the lady that runs screaming at the camera while Sir Hawtness is hidding behind the blacksmith statue dude. My writting is so... vague. really, that is so cool. Anyway, I went to see it with my friend and she made jokes all the way through it. I got it on DVD for my birthday last year. Can't wait for PotC 2!

My closest thing to a cameo is slightly embarassing, but I'm pretty sure the shot wasn't used.

potc 2 and 3 will be interesting, if anything.
i really hope they get keith richards to play jack's dad. i would love him so much... if it's possible to love him more than i already do. yay for crazy old guitar-playing men from england.
also i heard a rumor somewhere that they wanted selma hayek to be in one of the two sequals... maybe i'm nuts, but that would be hott.
um, the first potc was good. i have this thing against orlando bloom, mainly because he's kind of a sucky actor... but i think in time he'll get better. same with keira knightly. loved geoffry rush; he's extremely talented... he need more work! and of course depp... jack sparrow was what made me realize depp's talent... just because i loved keith and sparrow was a dead-on impersonation.
thought disney was selling out because it was making a movie about a ride... but look at us. we wouldn't have the totally awesome captain jack sparrow to oogle over if disney hadn't made potc.

i loved the movie but i thought there were some plot holes that needed filling. i hope the next movie deals with all the thing that were left vague in this movie

i personally wasn't that impressed with PoTC. Depp was of course incredibly hot, this was probably his hottest role yet, but the acting wasn't incredible, nor was the plot.. Don't get me wrong, it's a good movie, but it wasn't Depp's best.

Absolutely loved it! Johnny was hillarious and did such a great job playing Captain Jack. I hope the next two will be as good or better than the first.
