A large, healthy forest mainly inhabited by nothing other than Pokemon in the past. Only the occasional trainer had wandered through until now, due to the unnerving atmosphere the forest reeked of. Light Pokemon, or those seeking to be, seemed to find this place too disturbing for their liking. Only those with darker hearts were regularly found here, along with those trainers who had little fear of the place.

The sky was always dark, always night. Of course, the weather would act as it normally would anywhere else, rain and what have you. The clear skies were best though, when one could see the twinkling stars overhead, and the full moon if the time of month permitted. The phases of the moon changed as normal, and it moved across the sky and set along the horizon, only to return several hours later. The sun would never rise here.

The vegetation grew untamed nearly everywhere, sometimes reaching three feet or more in height. The trees grew considerably close together in some places, giving about a foot between in the smallest of spaces, though Pokemon-formed trails could be found between those with somewhat larger space to move through. One large clearing could be found in the forest, the grass short compared to the tall grasses and plants elsewhere. It was the only place where one could get a very good visual of the sky, and it was the brightest area of the forest if the light of the stars and moon was not obstructed by clouds. Due to the canopy of the trees everywhere else not much could be seen during the leaf-bearing seasons, and it left a great deal of the forest pitch black, and only small beams of moonlight would fight their way through the leaves and shine down through.

A few feet east of this clearing ran a small clear stream, only about a foot deep in a few places and about two feet wide, shallower in the areas with higher piles of stones. Several larger stones poked up and out of the water as well, forming suitable for stepping across the water. A mile or more west of the clearing rested a large pond, though this looked very unwelcoming. Deep, dark water kept hidden what might be lurking within. Algae floated over a good area of the surface, and most of the vegetation around the body of water had become so overgrown that one couldn't get to it to begin with.

Within the forest there were several hidden caverns, most all of them branching from one main cave. Large, and proving the proper temperature no matter the time of year, they served as shelter for anyone who may need it. Various abandoned dens could be found as well in various places, though much smaller, and usually only suitable for a Pokemon or two.

All plants and bushes are in full bloom, berries and fruits may be found in many places. Despite the constant darkness, the weather has warmed up to rest between mid seventies and high eighties. Some Pokemon may be tempted to take a swim in the stream, just be sure to keep them away from the pond. On another note, it seems likely that storms may be brewing in the near future.

-Battling is permitted anywhere. So long as the land itself is not damaged beyond repair.
-Do not harm the forest intentionally in any way, this will make Yasha & Hitsu very angry and violent.
-Beware of dangerous areas, use your common sense. If it looks like it's threatening, it probably is. This place isn't always friendly.

"with a bit of a tug, a pull, and a yelp, poke managed to fit through the small gap that was inbetween to large trees on the path. she shivered a bit, realising how cold it was and glad she had brang some warm clothes for herself and her pokemon. pan-chan was resting on her head, while ziggy led the way (so she could clear the snow) and ran followed poke close behind.

ran: "looks up to" ah! it's the flareon and evee from the auction! l haven't seen them in a while! "he bounds ahead of poke and ziggy, and runs through the clearing to met the other pokemon. though when he got close he made the same mistake as the evee and fell through the snow drift"

"shivers" heh, l don't see any berries...just alot of snow covered trees and snow....

O.o "starts digging into the snow and finds a lum berry" well l'll be...

ziggy: "Walks over to gouka" you know, if you walk in the snow, it starts to melt away form you ^_^ see? "she moves her tail near some snow and it starts to melt"
