In a land known as Lareana animals thrive. It's a world that looks much like our own, but with creatures, and plants that are far different. NASA's space program to Mars ran into problems, sending humans into a wormhole. The wormhole opened up just outside of Larena and the humans landed. But Lareana's natural order changed them. Genes that no one knew existed were activated causing the humans to gain animal tributes. Knowing they could never return to Earth, they settled into villages and domesticated the strange talking animal life. But now, over one hundred years later, Lareana is dying. The core of the planet is suffering from something and a group of seven teenagers and their pets must find the seven hearts or Lareana, and find themselves along the way. But Evil is also after the hearts. The misjudged species of Lareana, led by Poe the Raven-man, are after the hearts to start a new world, a world where Darkness is accepted, and the creatures of the night are no longer shunned. Can the teenagers Save Lareana? Or Will Poe and his feinds destroy it. Only time will tell...

You are one of these children. You are part human, part animal and no two are the same. But unlike Lareana's other inhabitants you have a special power. You have a pet, a combination or two or three animals who speaks the "human" tongue. This pet will help you in ways unseen, and may even save your life.

Requium - Land of Owls and magic. Only owls live here with the occasionally passing Eagle. It's also home to the Oracle, the eldest wisest creature in all of Lareana. She's seen as a Goddess. Filled with dense woods and cool streams it's a bird's paradise. Home to the Underground temple of Mind.

Chiraden - A mountenous area home to the Eastern cat kingdom. A prestigeous group, the cat's will fight for their honour and are not sociable.

Nalocae - A chilly area reserved for penguins and polar bears who, surprisingly enough, are quite peaceful with eachother. Snow fox and hare also dwell here.

Florena - A jungle area contrasting greatly from it's neighbor to the south. Full of jungle animals enjoyign the hot balmy area many brid species live here. Hoem to the Tree Temple of Air.

Katano - A traditional province of mixed animals. Peaceful and gentle, the avoid war and conflict with neighboring provinces.

Omé - a small beach resort and suburb. Like Lareana's Hollywood only without TV....Anyway, it's the best vaction spot in all the world, and even has a way to reach the undersea villages on the east side.

Aquastacia - Otters and other waterfolk live here...the ones who can go on land anyway. It also has a way to reach underwater villages but on the west side.

Chinap - Land of fluffy Pandas! The people of Chinap combined their Japanese and Chinese cultures into one. A very traditional group...

Maozewirl - Shunned and feared by the rest of the world, this is where the darker creatures lurk. Tarantulas, Rats, Bats, Ravens, crows, snakes and more dwell in the dark...waitign for their dawn...

Ferrigoth - Ferrigoth is home to the insect people. Names for it's Faerie-esque folk it's full of wonder. Lucky people get to study Alchemy at Ferrigoth schools among other things. Home to the Earthen Woods Temple.

Edante - Home to the desert Fire temple.

Xental - Xental is home to the greatest Jungles. Many jungle cats fair out here waiting for you to walk into their trap....

Trevasió - The french Province, It's geography allows for an array of creatures. However, Edante is known for it's french Foxes and it's wonderful food.

Appledae - Merely a port to underwater villages

Trevista - Home to the wolven clans of Lareana. Fierce yet noble creatures they are feared and respected. But they constantly are at war with the cat clan of Katsurfrinic to the north. Home to the Mountain temple.

Katsurfrinic - Home to the western cat Kingdom, these cat's are a little more giving and far less territorial. However, they can't stand the wolven clan in the south.

Mexifornia - Mountenous, similiar to South America. Residents tend to speak Spanish.

Omega - Like the African savannah, the hot arid land of Omega is full of odd animal life. Ruled by the big cats the wolves dare not pass. Home to the Light temple.

Bio: The runt of her family, Kiki was left to die in the woods outside of her village. She was found by the Oracle, an Owl-human and taken in as her child. The oracle raised her like her own and taught her the secrets of Owlen magic giving her her own staff at age eight. A hero to nearby villages at age ten Kiki was treated as her mother was, as a goddess. At eleven she found an injured Owlat named Natalie. Usign her magic she nursed Natalie back to health and requested the young Owlat to be her pet. Natalie accepted, and assisted Kiki in her daily tasks. Now, with her mother, the Oracle dying, Kiki saw in a dream that she must find the other six destined ones to save Lareana. With Natalie by her side, she sets off to save her world and her mother.

Bio: She lived in Trevista until her mom was killed in a war against the cats of the north when she was 5. Her father raised her and her siblings, who all left to live their own lives. Her father decided to travel to different parts of Lareana, Amber decided to go with him. At age 10, they visited Nalocae, where Amber met Slush, a Polar Wolf who was separated from the rest of his family and lost. Amber told Slush that while they traveled he could stay with them and see if they could find his family. After trying to track Slush’s family down for weeks on end, Amber wondered if Slush would be interested in coming to Maozewirl with them. Slush agreed and suggested that he could be Amber’s pet. So they headed off to Maozewirl, Amber decided to settle down there, while her father traveled to Chinap.

Bio: Born into a rich french family, she was seen as a prodigy due to a genetic mutation which gave her two extra tails. Her parents sent her to Ferrigoth a boarding school for Clothign design when she was five. She's continued to live in Ferrigoth during the school year as she attends her classes, returning home in the summers to be with her parents. However, as she's gotten older she's fallen in love with a poor Fennic Fox who's parents can barley pay for him to stay in the expensive school. Her parents don't approve of the 'desert rat' and forbid her to see him. Yeah, like she listens. Her recent plan is to leave Trevasió and her parents behind and move on in the world.

Bio: Originally from Omé, Zeke started off as a great musician. His parents wanted him to continue with a music career, while Zeke wanted to do more with the martial arts. Zeke dealt with his parents for a while, only because of his little sister Ariel. One time when he went hiking with Ariel, she was attacked by a Colf. Zeke panicked, and tried to at least get Ariel’s arm wrapped up (to stop the blood loss) and as soon as he touched her skin the wound healed (therefore Zeke knows one of his powers). When Zeke knew that Ariel could take care of herself alright, Zeke left his parents and traveled to Chinap to learn more martial arts. Around 15, he went to Ferrigoth to see what type of schools they had to offer for martial arts. He settled down there and got a small job playing guitar and singing for a restaurant (he didin’t want to completely shove music out of his life.)

Bio: She has lived in Ferrigoth her whole life with her parents, until they decided to move to Omé. Her over enthusiastic attitude is what keeps her going, especially when she needs someone to talk to and there’s no one there. She studies some martial arts and dance, just to have something to occupy her time. She would like to see the world, but mainly Florena and Requium.

Our story began in Housten Texas year 2220. A large spacecraft sat in the launch bay as hundreds of civilians stood in line to get in. It was Earth's civialian mission to cultivate Mars so it would finally be able to sustain human life with all the luxuries of Earth. Women, Children, and men of all nationalities boarded the craft; all of different professions. Some were doctors needed for the trip, others were carpenters and engineers who would build homes and schools. Dentists, farmers, teachers, and even just mothers were on their way to a better tomorrow on Mars.
The Craft launched without a hitch and they were all on their way. Family members and friends who were not going saw them off, not knowing that they would never see them again. For just as the craft was gettign close to Mars, just as everyone thought they'd be able to begin their new life, disaster struck the spacecraft.
A wormhole, big enough just to take over the ship pulled them in. Though the pilots tried to escape, ther efforts were fruitless and the craft dissapeared into the dark abyss of the hole. The craft came out in another galaxy, near a small green and blue planet. The craft crashlanded, leaving the surviving victims alone in this strange place.
AT first, things seemed well enough. Plants were similiar to those on Earth and used for building materials and for food. Homes were built and life became what the survivors found as 'normal'. Until one day when many people became Ill with a strange disease. Scientists found there was an element in the air unlike any ever found on Earth. an Element that activated Genes in humans that was never meant to be activated. They began to change. It was painful. Their ears fell off, muzzles grew where some of their noses and mouths were. Wings sprouted for some, for others fins and gills. Most grew tails and animal ears to replace those that had fallen. The humans had been changed. Most of them survived and went back to their 'normal' lives in the planet known as Lareana.
As days passed, the people....the anthros began to realize their differences in one another. Differences that when added with their new animal instincts, made for enemies. Wolves gathered together in search for land away from cats. Fish people went to live in the oceans. Wars broke loose and things were bad. That was until a small child stepped forth. Her name was Krista she was a small black child who had gained owl wings. She stopped their fighting with an odd magic, then with the other owls flew to a small island dubbed Requium. Peace rang through the lands aside from the bouts between cats and dogs. The different cultures set up provinces around the globe, and Krista was the decided ruler of all Lareana.

It was 300 years later. Peace was still around but tensions were raising in the 'darkness animals'. Animals who were seen as evil. Krista still ruled. But Lareana is dying. There is something wrong with the core. As Lareana dies, Krista becomes more and more Ill, and Krista's death means the death of all Lareana. It's up to seven teenagers, chosen by the gods, marked with the crest of their element, to find the seven hearts of Lareana scattered in the various temples. They need to find these hearts and join them together usign their powers to restore Lareana, and save the world.

But an obstical stands in their way. Unbeknownst to them, an evil Raven anthro by the name of Poe and his dark henchman are also after the hearts. With those hearts they could save themselves and rebuild Lareana in the name of their people. In the names of the misunderstood and misjudged creatures. Of the wolves, spiders, bats, rats, crows, snakes, and yes Ravens. Can the teens save Lareana from this terrible fate? Or will darkness prevail?

This is where our story truely begins. On the island of Requium, with the teenage cat Kiki.

The air buzzed with activity, as Yvienne slowly unfurled her dew dropped wings. She was still unused to their wieght upon her back, slight as it was, and she would take no chance in damaging them. The early golden light of morning streamed through the leaves over head. "Hello, sunshine." Chum Chum gurgled in his nest in the tree trunk. Chum Chum. She still hadn't figured out how she was going to bring him with her.

Kiki and Natalie walked out of the city hall into the bustling city. It was filled with creatures, much liek one would read about in story books. Insect people looked like faeries, horse people resembled centaurs. The occasional other creature would pass along, as they were on break from the legendary Ferrigoth schools, though certain Alchemy classes were beign held today.
"Nice place..." Kiki stated as she walked about, recieving strange looks from other dwellers.
