Thanks to the new Gaia cinemas, I was watching The Matrix yesterday and realized there was a lot more depth do that movie than I'd previously realized. I'll start you off with probably the most well known quote, some of Neo's ending words, and I ask, what do you think of this?
"I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... you're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you."
Do you think a world like this exists? I'll tell you my opinion once I hear a little from you.

Well first off, to my beliefs, we as human beings contain the one thing that other living things don't: soul.
That being said, I'd have to explain what the importance of the soul is. The soul of a human is the determining factor of change. Free will gives us and solely us the ability to make decisions, use logic, and make change. Soul is the center of the world, and it's single most powerful possession of all.
Now, as Neo says, a world where anything is possible, is entirely possible. Where there is soul, there is essentially destiny. By destiny, I mean there is the opportunity for anything to happen, and the soul shapes that opportunity. He continues to say "Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you." The soul has the choice to change anything it desires if the knowledge is available.
So ideally, a world where anything is possible... is our current world. Day after day, we know routinely what will probably happen, but we do not know anything that isn't expected. Anything of the unexpected can happen, so a world where anything is possible has already developed.

In a sense, at least to me, I think it does.
My belief is that our sole purpose in life is, well, to live through experiences. Good and bad. When we die, our souls go on a search to find another life, with new experiences.
I believe that this world you are talking about, may exist in that world between worlds, where our souls choose our next lives.
