Thanks to Oldbury, we now have enough gold for a couple of subforums.
I think one should be reserved for the up-coming events, but I was wondering what ideas people had for the other forum/s
When we have five/ six ideas we'll have a vote
IDEAS SO FAR (that I think would be useful)
Related topics- a subforum for things related to Jane Austen but not directly e.g other authors.
Life Issues- a place to get advice on any issues in your life, especially your love life.
Role playing- a place to start rp's based on the Regency period or on one of JA's works
Actors/Actresses- now media-a place to talk about your favourite actors and actresses in AUsten films, and other films they have starred in, any movie adptations, and radio adaptations.
I would like one or two more ideas and then we'll have a vote.

Fanfic/Fanart? Keeps the main board from getting too cluttered then.
Off-topic - Allows guild members to get to know one another a bit better and folk have somewhere to discuss other things none-Jane.
Would it be possible to change the title's given to guild members? Like instead of crew, given them character names, e.g. Mr Darcy, Emma, etc.
Contests? (Not really a subforum) but perhaps set aside some of the gold as prizes or it could be used to buy prizes for competitions?
News subforum? Let folk know what'll be happening and when. Like any balls, etc.

I know this isn't about subforums, but is it possible for us to get a background for the forum? Instead of just plain white, something a bit more austeny?
Subforum for crew might make it a bit easier for all the crew to know what they're doing and when.

I've been hangin out at one, though I know that having one in a guild is more complicated than other kinds subforums, so I want to get others fed back before I add it to the list of possible forums.

i suggest an rp subforum.. well, to be more elaborate a subforum to improve literacy among members.. Well I guess this is already under fanfics.. Anyways, just putting up what's in my mind.. oldbury Would it be possible to change the title's given to guild members? Like instead of crew, given them character names, e.g. Mr Darcy, Emma, etc. Obviously we can't, but we can assign roles to the members. Just like in the Austentatious Ball.. So instead of calling each other by usernames, we can use each one's respective character..

If fanfics gets thorugh we culd start rps in there, and see how they go, and then think about whether we want a sub-forum devoted to rps
