Being that contests are a big highlight of the guild,I'm going to go into depth here. That does not mean you cannot start a thread posting any of your photography,though I suggest that your photos not be any larger than 500 x500, unless you link them of course. We don't really care WHAT you talk about, talk about whatever you want. And remember kiddies, the Gaia TOS are your friends.

I'm guessing you all have questions about the contests. Here are the answers. A contest takes place every OTHER month, ending on the last day of the second month in which entries can be submitted. The subject of the contest is changed each contest, and will be different every time. The contest subject changes on the first and the winner of the past contest is announced the first Friday of the new month.
Members are not required to enter every contest held, but they do have to enter at least a few. When joining, members are asked to post the winner in their journal or signature. All submissions can be PMed to The Michiura Phag or subzero_33.

The judges are [b]randomly selected[/b], and will always be a member of the guild. So don't worry, Oprah will never be a judge, my pretties. However, if you are a member and you want to be a judge, send me a PM and I'll considered taking you on as another judge. And giving me a link to some of your art wouldn't hurt either. All contestants' entries will be posted in the Special contest thread. Don't fret, your work will be seen. ^^

1) You must be an amateur(or at least a pro that doesn't get the recognition they deserve) photographer to join this guild,i.e. you're not bringing in big bucks yet. Hopefully you will someday.
2) If you want to be a judge, then you are not allowed to enter the contest you are judging for.
3) It is NOT a requirement that you post a link or the banner to this guild anywhere in your signature or journal,but I will LOVE you for it if you do.
