(i'm assuming all of you are separate, unless one of you decide to have travailed together)
Those of you who are travailing south have been travailing nearly a week from the ancient city of Thun, it had lightning rods on every roof, and outside of the town walls it had huge lighting Towers(big rods) scattered about for nearly a mile around the city. The city was located in the middle of the great Thunder plains, it is a mostly barren land with small Tors here and there that you can see.
Those of you who are travailing north have been travailing merely a day from the town Last Hope, it had lightning rods on every roof, and outside of the town walls it had huge lighting Towers(big rods) scattered about for nearly a quarter mile around the town. You are newly arrived in the Thunder plains.
(note i made my world smaller for you guys, it would be a 3 and a half weeks travailing from Thun, and half a week from Last hope)
The Sky has been slowly darkening all day, and the smell of rain has been thick in the air. Now it has finally begun to fall, accompanied by loud peals of thunger that seem to roll across the landscape. The sun is hidden behind massive stormclouds, and a cold wind blows from the north. As bolts of lightning begin to slam from cloud to ground and pieces of hail begin to strike the earth, the need for shelter becomes obvious. Ahead in the distance, a large tor rises from the ground, its form illuminated by the occasional lighting bolt. It seems rocky and solid, and though climbing it in weather would be folly, it might have some outcropping the would provide safety from the storm. The only alternative is to endure the weather.
Quote: Players, you will start separate from each other, unless a few (or all of you) mutually choose to have already met and travel with each other. If you decide you are traveling alone, for sake of time frame, each post after the first happens twenty minutes (in-game) after the preceding post.
Knowledge (or Bardic) Checks can be used to see if you know anything about the tor. The Knowledge that is relevant is architecture and engineering, spelunking (dungeoneering), local, history, or nobility and royalty.
STORM-PEACE The custom of storm-peace evolved long ago in response to the sudden and severe storms that plague this area. The basic concept is that an automatic truce exists between all individuals and groups who seek shelter in neutral territory during a lightning storm.
Such weather is simply too dangerous for fighting, regardless of people’s feelings toward one other. Storm-peace is assumed to be in effect unless someone specifically rejects it. Even so, whenever two strangers meet during a lightning storm, they often greet one another by asking “Storm-peace?” simply to ensure that the other knows and respects the tradition.
WORLD SIZE If you want if to go back to the original size then post in a quote 'yes' if not post 'no'

I(Vendith) walk down the road and hear the crack of thunder and shiver. I prepare to take cover as I see the first drops of rain hit the ground.

Gah! I hate this weather. HATE IT! Gwark thought. It was bad enough having to go on this trek, but the weather just wasn't on his side. I'll have to find shelter. Spotting a rocky tor just as the rain started to fall, he came to a pause upon reaching the outcropping. "Now to dry off!" he cried. "I sure hope this bloody weather stops soon."

Aust watched the clouds as it started to rain. ' Just what I need' He set his bag down and took out his jacket. He put his pack on and then his jacket on top of his pack to keep both his pack and himself dry. He felt the first plops of rain and he hurried down the road looking for some kind of shelter.

I spot a rock outcropping that looks as if it could provide shelter but see a strange shadow rush into then out again and then finally it walked back in. I ready myself to fight but hope it is another being intelligent enough to make a storm-peace.

Manijin rolled 1 20-sided dice:
6
Total: 6 (1-20)

Well, I imagine things can't get any worse. Gwark began rubbing his arms, desperately trying to keep warm and keep his belongings safe. "I wonder if there is, perhaps, a warmer area here that I might be able to stay in."

(ok this is when you got about 20 feet to the Tor Manijin, oh and i rolled your spot already) The massive tor towers above the surrounding country. A few narrow ledges offer scant protection from the elements, but provide footholds to climb. Not that they're really needed. As Bekka gets closer she notices a massive, arched entryway at least 20 feet tall and 10 feet wide, set on a large ledge about five feet high into the side of the hill. The ground just outside it slopes away from the doorway, directing the falling water out and away. Given this fact and the sturdy nature of the hill, whatever space lies beyond the door should be both dry and safe from lightning and hail. The construction seems quite sturdy, so the likelihood of collapse, even in severe conditions such as these, is remote. You also see what looks like the remains of an immense round stone. (ok now nerdy) you see the same but also a small birdman looking thing standing by the door, but you don't see the remains of the stone (hey guys let me post after you have befor posting again in this 1st part)

Aust saw an out cropping that might keep him dry while he waited out the storm. As he walked up he saw some living something. He hoped that he wouldn't have to fight right now. He wasn't in the mood to defend himself. He walks up tward Gwark and he calls out to him. "Storm-Peace?" He hoped the creature would accept.

A little startled by Aust's sudden greeting, Gwark turned to face him. "Well, we'd better have storm-peace," he grumbled miserably, using a low, smooth baritone speaking voice. "I'm not in the mood for an argument."

(Okay. Thanks.)
Aust looks between Gwark and Vendith. He hoped they both accepted the strom-peace. Aust walks into the safety and he lets his bag down. "That's a good thing 'cause neither am I."

Gwark, looking at Aust apologetically replies. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm normally a little more polite." He takes a seat beneath one of the ledges near the door. "It's just this weather. I can't stand it. I've been traveling for so long, it seems, and I suppose I've just lost my manners." After taking a deep breath and sighing, Gwark continues. "By the way, I am..." Gwark proceeds to perform a series of strange hacking sounds mixed with a caw and a whistle or two (speaking in Kenku).
