Kinda self-explanatory. Read the thread on the main forum and tell me what needs to be added. You have to remember that it's more of a hangout than a roleplay, with no god-characters. More like normal people who like killing stuff.

The world, despite being easier to be in a traditional fantasy, will be in my alternate fantasy. That means everything from the classics stay. They just change. For example: Dragons.
Large, flying lizards that breathe fire.

Now lets keep some basics:
Flight, Largeness, Destructive Power

Okay, sounds good. So I create another creature that is not remotely similar to the original. If the original is a lizard, there can be no lizards. If the original was able to breathe fire, have the destruction come from a different apparatus.
In this case, a large flying armored fish with catfish whiskers/tendrils that conduct electricity.

Sounds cool. Make stuff like that.

Also, another idea I had that there is a little loopy, but it opens up some interesting possibilities.

There are three areas of the atmosphere, the lowest is fifty feet high, the second is a few miles high, and the last extends out into space.
The first area is very thick, being low to the ground. It's thick enough to have some things float in it, like creatures and some types of wood. Most creatures larger than a squirrel are too heavy to float in it, unless they have bags of lighter gas in them.
The second layer is much thinner. It's like real-life atmosphere at ocean-level. Most ships that can float in the lower atmosphere rise to the barrier between the lower and middle, where they sail like a boat. It' much windier up there.
The last one is just the region into space where it gets thinner and thinner. Not much there. Not 'till rockets are invented.

The final idea I will tough up here is how plants and creatures will be classified. There will be three major ones:
Lesser, Greater and Grand.
Lesser creatures are normal ones on Earth. Deer, birds, fish, lizards, all of 'em.
Greater creatures are like the Lesser ones, but they have something to spice them up. Larger, stronger, lighter, magical, anything really. Greater fish can swim in the Lower Atmosphere, and Greater bugs have feathers instead of chitin to achieve true flight. Most all of them are larger.
Then there are Grand creatures. Not too many of them. These are the kings and queens of their species. Where a fire-breathing Komodo Dragon is a Greater species, a real life Dragon is a Grand one. Of course, keep in mind every species has one. Mammals, Amphibians, Birds and Fish. They all have Grand creatures either just as or greater than dragons in power.

So yeah, those are my current ideas. Whatever else you think needs to be added, please post it.
