The Official Avatar Contest of Culling the Herd

Judging ends Sunday March 9th.

There will be another in April, just so you know.
Entrance fee of 500 gold.

The theme of Feburary is a character from a book or movie.

Have the character name and the book/movie it comes from.

Prizes:

1st: 1/2 collected entrance fees
2nd: 1/4 collected entrance fees
3rd: Entrance fee returned

Judging: by poll during the first or so week in March.

December 2007:
First place: princess lolifoxxx Half of the collected entrance fees
Second place: Toxius V. Stephanopolis a fourth of the collected entrance fees
Third place: Hikari Itsuki their entrance fee returned.

Alright people. Get creative with your avatars! I want to be amazed, and so does everyone else. Make sure your avatar submission is a character, otherwise we won't accept it.

We'd really like participants for this contest. It'll really help the guild, and plus its fun to win a little gold every now and then, right?

Please have your avatars ready by Feburary 29th, anytime before that is okay, in fact, great.
Please PM one of us if you have any questions concerning the contest, and if you have any complaints, take em' up with the big man, Ffaux Pas.

Note: Please use tekteks, to make it more fair for people.

Lets do tekteks, cause that means anyone can use any item, not just the items they own. Makes it more fair.

This is my representation of 'National Eat a Red Apple Day' on December 1st. I have tried to keep it red/green to fit with that other December celebration, too. The idea is, of course, that the grunny is nibbling on the huge apple girl...

My submission is Dec. 13th . . . . Ice Cream and Violins Day.
My avatar is wearing an ice cream hat to represent ice cream. Her mouth is dirty from enjoying chocolate ice cream. She is also posing with her favorite instrument, which just happens to be the violin.
Since I couldn't find an ice cream cone, I just put her in brown and tan colored items. The scarf brought in some red and green to keep in the Christmas theme.
A tasty dish with a classical instrument.

My take on Pretend to be a Timetraveller-day, 8th of December.

Looks like someone could not make up their mind as to which era to go... either that, or their database on historical clothing got seriously messed up.

Edit: My apologies, for some reason, the headline got changed back when I sent the trade to CtH Shepherd. The gold is meant for the contest, though.
