Merpati had chosen a brach with not many leaves today. She has her eyes closed and her chin tipped up toward the sky, letting the last light of sunset wash over her and warm her for the night ahead.
But she wasn't oblivious. She felt Sendiri's approach even before she heard him, so she wasn't in danger of falling. Not this time. One ear swiveled toward him, though she didn't open her eyes. "Hello..."

Sendiri was the same smooth little cat that he was as always, and when he'd spotted a familiarly colored Tokoro, he couldn't help but feel the urge to go visit with her. Really, he hadn't seen little Miss Merpati since he caught her before she could fall from the tree, and he wanted to see how things were.
When she greeted him before he revealed himself, he stopped for a minute, and grinned. His ears perked up. "Hello, Merpati." Sendiri plopped down next to the grown Tokoro on the branch, curling his tail around it. "S'been a while." He grinned at her. "You look pretty, all grown up." It wasn't flirting, not really, it was noticing the truth. She was a very pretty Tokoro all grown up.
She'd definitely make some lucky Tokoro a proud father, oh yes.

She hadn't known -who- it was precisely, but when she looked over, it only took a second to remember his name. Ears tipping in a sort of a "blush", she smiled. "I guess it has been a long time, hasn't it? Hello again, Sendiri. And thank you. How are you? Oh!" She remembered. "And how's Aiden?"

Sendiri smirked a little when the female next to him seemed to have forgotten his name, and his whole face brightened up when she remembered. "It has been." He nodded a little, and grinned. "Me and Aiden've been just fine, thanks." He looked over at her. "He's still shy, but not so bad now that he's all grown up." Sen snorted, and leaned back comfortably. His tail curled around the branch, and he dropped, danging there.
"How about you? How've you and your family been?" He looked up at her, grinning.

If she'd really forgotten, that would have reminded her. She couldn't help her little gasp. She peeked down over the branch at him a moment later. "Fine, thank you. My mother's fine. You know, I'm surprised your tail holds up." And a little amused, judging by the glint in her eye.

"Yeah... I kinda am too." He snorted, and grinned at her, swinging to and fro comfortably. "One day it won't, and I'll fall, and... Probably won't learn my lesson." Would he die? Naaah. Sendiri didn't see himself dying any time soon. "But until then, it's great for conversation starters." He beamed at her, and nodded sagely. Then he flipped himself up, and plopped down, amused. "At least it never gets old."

She looked a little horrified at the thought. "I hope you don't fall. Even the lowest braches are a long way up!." She relaxed when he sat beside her again. "I suppose that's true. You're your own entertainment."

"Well, yeah, I don't want to fall either, but..." He grinned sheepishly. "I fell, one time. It was really lucky. I fell right into the lake under the waterfall." He beamed sheepishly. "Aiden made me swear I wouldn't fall again, so... I haven't." Sendiri rubbed his neck sheepishly, then grinned. "That's exactly right! You are your own entertainment. Especially when everyone else is too busy to make you laugh." He poked her nose, just like he had when she was a cub, grinning.

She crossed her eyes, just like she had as a cub, too. And laughed. "He just wants to take care of you. That's good." She considered him, then confessed, "I remember you holding me and swinging like that when I was little."

"Yeah, I know..." He said, ears going flat and tail going limp because he actually made Aiden worry about him. Even if it was just that once, guilt was something Sendiri was horribly vulnurable to. Then his face split into a grin. "Of course you remember." Sendiri replied smugly. "It was probably the most excitement you ever had as a cub. ... Unless you were attacked by something. And in that case... I am very sorry." His ears flattened in what could be distress, but was much more likely to be humorous acting.
"I think I remember promising to teach you how, too." His eyes took on a wicked gleam, and his grin seemed slightly more maniacal. "If you're still interested."

She blinked a few times. "Attacked? No. And that wouldn't exactly be -exciting-..." She blinked again, then leaned over to peer down off the branch. "Now?"

Sendiri shrugged. "Meh. It might be terrifying, but.. afterward, the rush is pretty fun." He grinned sheepishly, and then smirked at her. "Sure, why not? Best time as any, right?"
He looked down off the branch, frowning contemplatively. "We'd obviously have to go to a lower branch. Just in case. Juuuuust in caaaase..."

"Just in case," she agreed. She was already moving, twining around the tree trunk to reach the branch below.

Sendiri grinned, and followed her down, leaping from the branch to the lower one and grabbing onto it smoothly, climbing back up. He waited for her, tail curled around the branch comfortably.
Once she was there, he grinned. "Curl your tail around the trunk, like this." He moved so she could see how his tail was curled. "And hold on as tight as you can."

She studied him, the exact curve of his tail, where on the length he'd started wrapping it, and then she sat ad wiggled and adjusted. She curled her tail tightly around the branch, then looked at him again. "Got it. I think. I hope."
