So I hooked up with this guy a couple of times within the last two weeks. I really like him, and we had a great time. Last weekend I had a party, and asked to him to go with me, he basically said no and then asked if he could bring his ex.
Ok yeah, I know I should move on. At this point, but it goes on.
He got the flu, really bad, and had no one to bring him anything he needed. So, being the overly-agressive pushover I am, I bought him some food and orange juice and some medicine and took it to him.
He was super grateful - at the time. Hell, he even promised me diner.
Now? He's totally ignoring me. I guess he's going through a lot of personal s**t financially or whatever.
What I'm wondering is, did I get totally used, or could his personal problems be causing him to shut me out?
The answer is probably clear to everyone except me, but I can be pretty naive.

That is kind of one of the negatives about hooking up. It's hooking up...and it shouldn't mean more than what it is.
As for him using you, I am not sure, because you bought him food of your own accord, not cause he asked you. Maybe all he wanted was a hook up and is getting the feeling that you want more, and he doesn't want the same thing as you.
His personal issues could be a factor, but I don't think that is entirely the case.
