Coming from someone who uses a great amount of energy on a daily basis, I need to spend as much time, if not more, simply relaxing or meditating. Crystal Links is a pretty good website; it's where I started learning about Clairvoyance, among other kinds of abilities. So if you would like a basic introduction to meditation, visit the following site.

Meditation is actually a very regular part of my day. I meditate when I first wake up, just before bed, and during any spare time I have when I want to regroup. I studied Hindu meditation a couple years ago with a teacher who taught me a great deal on the subject, so if anyone would like any advice I'd be more than happy to help you out.

Of course that was just one style of meditation. Over time I learned to create my own style of meditation which I formed based on my knowledge from class and outside research. I focus mostly on imagery since I use imagery quite often when working with energy. I've found from talking to others and from my own experience that it's usually more effective to form your own style or routine of meditation rather than completely take on the advice of another.

I'm into meditation but so far I've only done one kind and it was kinda differnt, it was involving talking to my guardian angel, using yes and no guestions. Was kinda of a easy step, there was more complicated ones.

Snu, I agree with what you said when you said "I've found from talking to others and from my own experience that it's usually more effective to form your own style or routine of meditation rather than completely take on the advice of another."

My thoughts exactly.

Now... when I meditate, I do some of the steps that site mentions...
In order:

I get into a comfortable position, including what I'm wearing and listening to, lights, temperature... I usually meditate with undergarments and a loose robe. If I have music going, it's usually something slow with few lyrics. I usually have dim lights, and temperature at about 72. I take the overused stance, sitting cross-legged with the backs of my hands on my legs.

Next comes the breathing... I usually don't have to hinder on this long, because my breathe is generally calm and relaxed. I keep my breath flowing to the music, in sync if I can.

As for the mediation itself... I do several different things. I don't always ponder certain things, nor do I always look for spiritual enlightenment. Some days, especially days that follow stress filled ones, I'll let my mind wander into anything it wishes. Creating this ebb and flow with my thoughts calms me, and I can continue through the stress renewed.

However, when I do think about certain things, I answer questions with more questions, and when the subject has been narrowed down to the simplest of all things I answer them. There is no recording of answers, because I have a notebook in my mind.

Mostly... I do meditation regularly, just as a way to let my emotions flow. If I didn't, I probably couldn't keep my calm bearing. It helps me in many things, mostly in being objectionable.

So that's how I do it.
