Fairy Godfather ran into the library, huffing fromthe cold.

"Where's Ms. DS?" He said frantically. He may not have seemed like he had being doing much in the past month, but in reality he had been searching frantically, using every last connection he has to find Eriol. When Illyria had disappeared, she was within the realm of his reach, but Eriol seemed to just have vanished.

Faevan ran up to FG, her eyes worried.

"Eriol?" She questioned. Only she knew of his search. He nodded, still catching his breath.

"What is it anyway?" DS unwrapped a scarf from her neck and removed her coat, motioning to her companion to do the same. "What did he tell you?"

A pale girl with with very fuzzy ears and tail pulled off her cloak slowly. "He just said that he knew something you didn't know, and that were were supposed to go looking for him." Yeine's pink eyes were nervous. She didn't think her caretaker would approve of this, but it seemed she was wrong.

Nodding, she tossed her coat onto a chair and ran into the library! "Fae! Mister Godfather! Anyone here?"

Eragon spotted Yeine and DS walk in. He let out a sigh of relief. He listened to FG recount what happened. It left him.... unsettled. His good friend running about in alley-riddled Durem.

Illyria felt sick to her stomache. Durem had a bad reputation. What could have prompted Eri to go to such a place? She couldn't stop wondering. She took hold of Eragon's hand and pulled him towards the fire.

"We'll help any way we can." she said, Eragon nodding.

FG joined the two by the fire, and Faevan soon joined them. In his hand, he held the bottle.

"Floo powder." he explained. "Yes, I kow it's tacky, but I can take whatever I choose from any literature of my liking, and it will be effective." He tossed some in, and motioned to the group. "Faevan will go with you. I can't go with you. I'll be sending you to the last place I saw him." He looked at DS very seriously. "With Illyria, I caould have intervened at any time. But this time you'll have to be on your own, Ma'am. Please exercise extreme caution." She have her a squeeze on the shoulder before ushering them into the fireplace. Within moments, the were in the alley ways of Durem, the snow fallign heavily around them and the noise fo the city bouncing off the stone walls.

Illyria shivered. "Man it's chilly this time of year." she said, smoke coming from her mouth in small puffs.

Eragon nodded, removing his coat and putting it on Illyria's shoulders. "Better?" he asked with a smile.

She nodded. "Thanks bro... hey, I know that jacket!" yelled Illyria. She ran off into a crowd. Moments later, she emerged with Buffy by the hand.

Buffy blinked at the huge party before her. "Hey guys... I was doing a little holiday shopping, what brings you all here this fine morning?"

"I'll explain on the way mom," said Eragon, "let's go!"

"Eriol? Eri, wait!" DS hurried after Faevan, confused. Why was he running from them? Why had he gone in the first place? No matter, she had to find him.

Yeine waved to Eragon and Illyria nervously. "I believe we should follow them, yes?"

"Who built this damn city..." Faevan huffed, stopping at an intersection of 5 alleys. She cursed loudly, the snow had already covered most of the tracks, and it seems they weren't the only ones running about that morning. She dropped to the ground, trying to discipher the tracks, when she heard a crash down the third. She placed her back to the wall, a finger over her lips to shush DS when she saw her following behind her. She pointed down the third allwyway.

"He's there. You go first, DS. It's a dead end, I think. He's trapped there." She felt horrible huntig the boy like this, but they had to being him home.
