Here's where we share information on an artist that most people probably have never even heard of. If you can, try to post a link to their website and a brief description of their musical style.

The first one I'll recommend is Jillian Goldin. She doesn't even have her first album released yet, and I heard about her merely by chance. She's a new-age, world fusion artist, but she's also a heavy vocalist unlike many other artists of that genre. This is her website.

The Wreckers

They're a country music duo. They've got two CDs out (Stand Still Look Pretty and Live from New York). They got a CMA (country music award) nomination, but they didn't get the award.

Alright, my next artist is an electronic artist that is hard to categorize in one particular style. Midihead's work reflects influences from industrial, trance, breakbeat, techno, and downtempo. He's definitely among my favorite electronic artists, and though I don't own any of his albums, I would still recommend checking out his music. Yes, it is better than your overly-generic and over-rated German techno.

All right, not all of his work is that underground, but check out Julian Cope. Pop, folk, rock. This guy does it all, while delivering lectures on European history, specifically to do with standing stones. Not to mention publishing his own books and releasing all of his music independantly.

Check out: 'Jehovahkill' or 'Peggy Suicide' for albums.

Check out: 'The Tower', 'East Easy Rider', 'A Crack in the Clouds' and 'Dance by the Light of the Bridges You Burn' for songs.

Oh, and how could I have forgotten "The world's sexiest rock band"? The Genitorturers are an incredible hardcore band, though if you're not a fan of metal, you probably won't really enjoy their music.

I don't think you see the places
inside me that I find you

I adore Abney Park. There website is wonderful, first of all. Their music is pretty hard to find. I like Stigmata Martyr personally. It has a very Arabian sound to it that I like. They are a NeoVictoria band. They combine a 'Steam-age sound' to modern industrial and Egyptian music. It isn't everyone's taste. But they melt my heart.

And I don't know how we
separate the lies from the truth

I have a new one! Neurosonic is... Well, I'm not quite sure, but they're some kind of rock... Though Media Player says they're pop... Anyway, they're a pretty cool band.

They don't have a website yet.

Another cool band is Stolen Babies. They're metal, but a very unique style. I once heard them described as a carnival that's really pissed off at you and I think that it's a pretty good analysis.

And their website...
