Occupations
Okay folks not everyone here can be a homeless bum, going about slaying dragons, and demons, and
stuff...sooooo I've collected a list of occupations for everyone to enjoy...(at least until someone complains about something). Remember these are just a general idea of occupations, if you want more...well there's always the suggestion sub forum hehe.

Acrobat/Juggler - The trained performers that go out and entertain the world. They can toss common, awkward, and even dangerous items high up into the air, and keep them in a constant motion. They bring smiles with them wherever they go, and people love to gather around and watch the dangerous stunts.
They tumble around their stage, and do little flips while catching and tossing. And when a group gets together, they really rake in the money, with their awesome juggling patterns. But with all the dexterity gained from years of stunts, they are master weapon throwers, axes, swords, knifes, torches, anything can be flung with great accuracy. With their training in tumbling, they can dodge, and weave with great ease, making them as good fighters and entertainers.
Animal trainer - Okay...only one breed of animal that your good at training, not all. Like per say I train dogs.
Arc Knight - Though there hasn't been one for over 400 years (other than Adi), an Arc Knight is capable of combining both white and dark magics into his blade, creating spells just as effective as Magi blade. They are considered hero's worthy of legends.
Archer - one who is highly skilled in using a bow or other projectile weapons.
Artist/portraits - Painter and/or sketcher
Beast Master - Some are born with the special ability to communicate with some or all animals. They are known to tame such beast and use them in combat.
Berserker - Lonely people with distraught pasts. They are usually strong and normal on the outside, but when angered, their strength may increase up to 50 times normal and they do not stop attacking until every living thing dies.
Black Mage - A master of the dark arts. Only few have mastered this magic, and not gone corrupt from it.
Captain - They command a small company of soldiers..
Chef - They cook the yummies, or the yuckies depending on their skill.
Colonel - Commands an entire squadron, serves under the general.
Dancer - Usually these people aren't highly noticed until the lotus moon festival. They usually dance for a living, and most are good tempered people being that one would had to have an unusual liking to one's job.
Dark Knight - Elite knights who have dabbled in the dark magics. Most are corrupt.
Designer - These people usually come up with blueprints to whichever they focus their work on. (ex- carpentry, blacksmithing, clothing, etc...) The great thing about a designer is that they do not put in the effort to create the clothing. Instead they make their money by selling their blueprints to a crafter of said work.
Dragoon - After developing an exceptional ability to communicate with dragons, they fight along side them, against anyone who poses a threat to dragons. Developing ki energy, they enable themselves to jump incredible heights, then attack with spears.
Elite (Soldier) - Advanced, high ranked soldiers.
Entertainer - You specify
Fortune teller - I can tell you your future for a small fee of course...(doesn't necessarily have to be legit).
General - Master commander of the army.
Grounds keeper - ...security guard.
Guard - Guardian of town. (You basic sentry)
Herbalist - Usually these people know the lore of the lands, and its powers to heal a person, not to mention kill a person as well. They take their vast knowledge of plant life, and instill it to better help mankind...or destroy it.
Hunter - Well these guys go out into the wild, and hunt creatures of all sorts, only to sell they're hides for a decent price.
Keeper of the Cemetery - Basically the crypt keeper.
King/Emperor - Ruler of a region or kingdom (You'd be safe to ask before wanting to become one of these in my mainstream.)
Knight/Soldier - protectors of the kingdom, they are the ones who march out to battle.
Magic Smiths - It is constantly contested whether these are mages who are expert smiths, or smiths who know magic. These are the people that make the magical items used through out the world. Advanced users of Spellblade and Magiblade who are just as proficient in smithing weapons, jewelry, or clothing. These Smiths weave their magics into there muse. Mighty magical weapons, rings and amulets of awesome power, and magical garments that can defend against the strongest of offencive spells. These kinds of mages cannot use their magics as a normal user of spellblade or magiblade, but can create magical items for anyone to use.
Mapmaker - These people usually travel the world a lot just to keep up with how much the world is changing. Usually one devotes his/her whole life to creating a detailed map of the world.
Mercenary (Merc) - Well these guys are you standard mercenary type deal. Now don't get them confused for an assassin, these guys hunt people wanted by the law for a certain...fee.
Merchant - travels and builds on their limit-less supply of goods which vary from common everyday items to hard to come by rares. They sell stuff like armors, weapons, accessories, crystalia, and even food, it just depends on the merchant him/herself.
Minister - They are known as the ordained, the ones chosen by the gods to do their will. Most kings listen to their ministers in order to keep the gods happy. They mainly handle religious affairs, but have been known to dabble in the affairs of the military. they aren't the ones that touch little boys okay! These guys are worshipers of the goddesses, and gods...make sure to state which goddess or god you worship if you choose this occupation.
Monk - These normally very calm and patient people adore nature and tranquility to its fullest. But when opposed or forced to combat, their mastery in martial arts allow their bare hands to be as deadly as any conventional weapon.
Musician - Pick what you play
Prince - son of a king or queen
Princess - daughter of a king or queen
Queen/Empress - Female ruler of a region of kingdom (You'd be safe to ask before wanting to become one of these in my mainstream.)
Ranger - Essentially, they are good renegades. They like to live alone and travel, doing good deeds when possible.
Royal Guard - Guardian of the royal house.
Rune Knight - These knights use crystalia to wield the elements. Most knights of this order are all, but extinct due to the high rate of crystalia poisoning they would put their bodies through.
Thief - Usually born into a poor family and forced to steal to survive. After stealing for most of there lives, they refine their techniques making them able to snatch from unsuspecting victims without any notice. Some of the best of them may even also steal for others.
Trainer Alchemist - Alchemists who specialize more in biology than chemistry. Rather than using chemicals, both common and volitile, Trainer Alchemists use both common and volatile animals. Most scientists and alchemists claim that Trainer Alchemists are no more than animal trainers, but there is a science and magic used with this Trainer Alchemy.
- Different Trainer Alchemists use different mediums, some use mind altering drugs and chemicals, some use magical control spells, while the most extreme bond magical controls directly to their animal. Trainer Alchemists tend to narrow their field of expertise to only certain species of animals. They are excellent breeders, and are knowledgeable in the field of animal husbandry. Trainer Alchemists are few and far between, even compared to regular alchemists. They get together as often as they can, to discuss their learnings, and advancement in the fields of their science, and techniques and practices. Above all, much like the regular Alchemist, Trainer Alchemists roam the world in search for knowledge, to improve the intelligence of the masses, and make life easier for everyone.
Treasurer for the Carnival - (takes entrance fees and keeps track of all income)
Warlock - These vile users of demonic magics can use demons and dark spells to their whim. Often, they use live sacrifices to slaughter for power. Most Warlocks are now extinct.
White Knight - Elite soldiers who have attained the highest ranks of knighthood and can wield some magic, usually taught by wizards and white mages.
White Mage - A user of holy, and white magic...
Witch - Capable of levia magic and matter altering Ether spells, most witches are now extinct.
Wizard - These more noble users of have learned to use all magics, and are few in number. Only two have been able to master such magic, Father Crowley from the divine order of Gia, and Sire Magnus from the dark order of Pandora.
Shaman - A nature in-tune, wielder of the elements, Shamans strive towards bringing balance throughout Gi, although some have been known to use the elements to their own disposal. They train in one of the four main magical elements; Wind, Lightning, Red Flame, or Earth. They also carry around certain reagents of their trained element, so that when battle does occurs, they are rarely caught off guard. Shamans can also summon upon small totems to aid them in their combat, whether it be to heal lightly, or to bring upon the element of their training.
Okay well basically folks thats a general idea of occupations, we'll update with more jobs soon enough as well as the weapon's list, but till then...looks like you guys will be left hanging...too bad...so sad.
