lol
this is for my manga
the first six pages
well
rough draft pages
i'm just trying to get it set up
then i'll start doing some real work
i wanted to know whether or not i was good at setting up the panals
i'm thinking i'm way too square
and i'm also thinking i could use an editor
so if anyone here wouldn't mind someone as frustrating as me (i'm stubbern, procrastinator, bad spelling, mindless chibi-ness, gone for months at a time ^^;;, doesn't like hard work, ect, ect) then please be my editor
or just leave some comments
its all good blaugh

I wouldn't mind helping you out with your comic! It looks like a good storyboard/sketch, but I'm kind of of confused about the order it's supposed to go in(the numbers at the top and the arrows on the right are what's throwing me off).

Also, just a stylistic note, there should probably be some empty space between panels - it serves to make the page not look so cluttered and separates the scenes a bit. Like this: [link] There's not too much white space between the boxes but it looks cleaner than if the panels were all scrunched together (like this).

thats why there isn't a lot of white
and all the lines (of talking) are in my head sweatdrop

It's just a personal preference, but I would recommend that you write your comic book from left to right. Manga is published from right to left because they want to stay true to the original content which was published in Japan (where everything is read from right to left, books, newspapers, etc.). It's not a stylistic choice, it's just the way they read. If you have an English-speaking audience, I think they'd prefer to read a comic the way they grew up reading; left to right. It's always best to cater to what is easiest for the audience if you want people to read your comic (ask anyone in the webcomic business).

I like it, I think your art is clean enough in the sketch for you to be able to finalize it easily.

Also, if the squares get too boring, then identify the panel or particular square that needs the most attention, and change that one. Make it a different shape, get rid of it entirely, it's up to you.
That'd also be a good opportunity to draw more background or the whole body of your character, etc, to make that spot stand out.

Also, you gotta be commended for putting your comic up. I don't have the guts to do that yet. O__o

Yeh i aint doing that either yet xd
But think about what ur gonna draw first, then plot the frames. Use a ruler and make sure to mix frame sizes and such.

sheesh
what kind of manga otaku would i be if i didn't know the basics
but it's become easier for me to read from right to left rather than from left to right
thats why i set it up that way
idk
i'll make a poll on it and see what is prefered
