Welcome Welcome! To the ultimate culmination of ventings about the guild that was (admitingly) the inspiration for this guild's existence!

First off let me say that this isn't a thread made out of spite and hatred and crying about how they were MEAN TO US BAAAWE. It is instead a place to gather our personal experiences about the whole event. To vent our frustration at their leadership and whatnot.

For those who do not know the story (though I believe most of the guild does *cough*) I shall tell it in short. When the leader of the "prestigous" guild Synamatic Darkness went on a PMS-worthy tantrum and started ranting at his members and closing the roleplay forum many of the less sheep-like members began to criticize his extremely tyrannical rules that caused the unatural fear of being banned in the guild. In a course of events many threads and memebers were silenced, and as such this guild was born from a simialar premisice as SD, but without the fascist feeling.

I myself was just banned today, though I'm not certain why because the only anti-SD activity I had done was signing the roleplay forum petition. (I had a nice criticism filled post ready when the thread got locked and purged before I could post of course). But to question the methods of that guild are nonsense, NONSENSE I SAY.



So in conclusion to the start of this thread, I welcome everyone to talk about your feelings of that guild, catalouge your own events, and just generally put anything related here so that it may be immortalised here forevar. (and also to make sure all the other threads in the guild aren't filled with our subtle anti-SD flavor, THAT'S WHAT THIS THREAD IS FOR, WOO) ;D

The fact you are asking for feedback and whatnot seems a step in the positive direction based on what we consider to be MK's mistakes. XD

For all we know at the very beginning of his guild he was a kinder gentler leader willing to take suggestions and such. This is one of the mysteries of life, so I can't really provide an accurate answer.


I understood his discontent with an inactive guild, but how can you treat your members that way?
When you make a thread to rant at them about how inactive they are and they respond almost unanimously how afraid everyone is to be banned then you'd think you'd realize you were doing something wrong. But he can't take criticism so I suppose you can't expect them to be like "well we won't ban you instantley for making small mistakes anymore!"

What peeved me was that instead of listening to suggestions and at LEAST politely disagreeing with them, he instead disected what they said and pointed out everything wrong about it and how he was right.

There is a fine line between the good level of rules and getting ridiculous.

Of course anarchy solves nothing, good authority to keep things in line produces the best kind of guild and whatnot.


Let's not forget how horrible it is for there to be colored text. It is a travesty and worthy of insta-ban, because it is such a threat to the well-being of the guild.

You forgot to RIGHT ALIGN IT.

Which reminds me, I meant to use more white text for full snark value before I got banned.

White text is just awesome because they don't see it unless they highlight or quote.

And and um, I was in SD for... a day or two, i can't remember. I made a few posts in an effort to prove to him that i wouldn't be dead space in his guild... then... sort of decided it was useless. From what i had read there was no gaining any sort of recognition from him, i couldn't understand how those who had his recognition had gained it.

And, i do believe freedom of text is important, but i hate to say the one thing i truly loved, the one thing that i saw as promising in SD, was the rule against chat talk... I cannot stand chat talk. That's what it's called right? Oh wow it drives me nuts gonk I am so against it i probably get charged more on my cell phone bill because i'm so a**l about spelling everything out in my text messages sweatdrop

Um, Ffaux, what was that you were saying in the Mod thread about Camry? I for some reason couldn't understand whether you were saying he's a good person, or a backstabber...
