Ok, so you all know how this works, I'm not going to go into huge detail, but I guess that since its that time of year. Basically, you'll sign up in this thread, and give a wishlist. I'll put your name and wishlist on the front page. On the 18th, I'll PM you all with your recipient, and you'll send them something on their list.

Once the gift-giving starts, this will also be the "thank you" thread. If you don't give a thank you, I'll be in touch asking why. If you haven't given a present by the 25th, I'll be in touch asking why. If you don't give a present by the end of 2007, you'll be blacklisted from any other contests I set up here. So keep that in mind.

Anyway, give me a moment to reserve the extra spaces I need, and then go ahead and start the signups!

One last thing, guys! I want to keep this thread full of lively conversation. The person who shows their Holiday spirit best will get a special gift on the 25th from me! So make sure you have plenty of stuff on the wishlist, because if you don't leave anything for me, I'll just have to guess.

Oh, and one other last thing! Make sure the person receiving your gift knows who gave it to him. Don't send the gift anonymously, that will just make it hard to be thanked properly, and also complicate my job of keeping track of the gift giving.

You should set a limit on the prices of the gifts... Just, 'cause I don't know what's a 'normal' amount of gold to spend.

Thanks, fox. I'm not going to set a price limit, instead I'm going to ask that everyone include a bunch of gifts ideas with varying prices, so that those who are of lesser financial means still have something to work with.

But remember, people, the holiday season is about generosity! Don't worry about what you are getting, just make the best effort you can make for your person with the means you have available. Maybe you're willing to sell a katana to do that, or maybe that means bumping for 2 days straight...or maybe it means buying what you can with the cash you have on hand. Do what seems right to you.
