There was a wonderful art forum I was a part of for a long time before it died that did weekly sketch contests that were lots of fun.

How this works:
A theme is chosen, and people who want to enter the contest sketch something based off of that theme. At the end of the week, everyone votes on the entries, and the winner gets to choose the next week's theme! (If this gets successful, I will start giving out prizes or gold smile )

Rules:
-Entries cannot take more than one hour to draw. Obviously there's no way to enforce this, so we're going to have to take you at your word. Be honest!
-Entries must connect to the weekly theme in SOME way (even if it's a terribly thin connection)
-Entries must follow Gaia's rules (those blasted rules) so no sex, gore, etc.

This week's theme:
Death

Well it started today, so I'd say the deadline is December 17.. remember, it can't take longer than an hour (so hopefully people will have time to draw something smile )

Yay for creepy little girls and death. I'm actually really happy with how she turned out. This took like 30 min but I also colored a different copy with colored pencils and I'm thinking about doing a cg one, too. The reason her hands are strange and her legs are a little stiff is because I was actually going to make her a marionette, but never did.

Of course! ^.^ I'll put her up in the lines sticky.

The voting should be over, so guess I'll go ahead and choose a theme. How about nature?
