Welcome to our first ever GLITS contest. We have some great prizes to give away thanks to our donators, thanks a bunch.
Starting today until the New Year we will be having a Winter/Christmas avatar contest. The idea is simple, dress up your avatar in a Wintery or Christmas look and the mods will judge it during the first week of the New Year and you could have a chance to win some nice prizes.
Rules
- You must be an active member of the guild, this means having at the very least 100 posts on our guild, no cheating by double posting or just bumping topics.
- You must keep your avatar dressed as your submission until the end of the first week of January, Jan 7th. The cut off date for submissions will be Dec 31st so if you decide to change your look before then feel free to do so, but don't change it during the week of judging or you will forfeit.
- The mods and admins will judge the submissions. If a mod wishes to join the contest they can, but they will not be allowed to judge the final submissions. During the final week we'll post a poll in the secret headquarters for the judges to vote on which they liked the best.
Prizes:
First Prize: Get's their choose of either an August 2007 or September 2007 thank you letter. For those of you who don't know, or have forgotten, what is in these envelopes. Here is a list:
August 2007 Thank you Letter - Summoning Tome or Plasma Gear
September 2007 Thank you Letter - Gift of the gods or Superior Form
Second place: Your choice of 4 Spirited 2k6 items.
Third place: The remaining 4 Spirited 2k6 items.
Fourth place: Cowhide Santa hat

Well that didn't go over too well... And here I thought that we were going to be disappointing people by being so late with our return from Rhode Island...
Well this contest is now closed. It appears there is only one person who even tried, which is kim. I guess these prizes will be left for another event.
