This is something that Ffaux Pas has got me thinking about. When we were talking about religion, we stumbled upon the topic of whether or not we should force our opinions on others. My opinion? I want to let my opinion be known, but I don't want to convert people to it just because I say so. There are probably things I don't know about the argument. There's probably a side I haven't seen. But still, even though it may not come from a complete knowledge of all information that is related to a subject, I still have an opinion. As do others, and I respect that. Just as I want others to respect my own.

Hmm. Still not really a rant. It's welcome to stay here, but you might also consider expanding upon it a little and posting it in the debateforumthing to discover what other people think about converting people, how hard you should try to convince someone you're right about something, whether it's moral to do so, and why we believe something so strongly, ourselves, while we can still admit that we don't know everything and could be wrong.

Not angry enough. Not a rant.

Actually, I think it should go in the debates area. And, as for fallenseeker... rants don't have to be angry. They can be merely philosophical. Or, heck, even sad.
