My hair is really long and when it wants to be is strait but since the air is so dry in the winter my hair is very puffy. I cant keep my hair tied back, its to heavy to put up and has developed immunities to hairspray. I try and keep it braided but the ties wont stay in. Can any of you help me find a way to control my hair? i cant spell to save my life

Redken makes this awesome shampoo called "Clear moisture" and its ammaaazing! Its expensive, but you could also always buy some moose or some type of soft gel (Soft as in it doesnt make your hair cement) and put that in your hair when trying to style it. I suggest Contour 08 from Redken- thats really nice. *works as a shampoo girl haha*

I have really long really straight hair too and I agree with Lauren. Make hair products your best friends.

Also, if you use a hair dryer, stop now. Make it a New Year's resolution or something... Hair dryers completely suck the moisture out of your hair. Instead, gently towel your hair and comb it into a braid while it's wet and let it dry over night or something. Use a gel product to smooth down the top after it's done and as the hair and product dry together, they smooth it into place softly.

Another option is to just get it cut... which is where I'm at right now. Lol. I gotta get rid of this... and Locks of Love is just the place to go.
