Yeah, I nicked my own idea off of the Potter Slash guild..
But since this guild is more literature-focused, I thought it would work here too.
In case you didn't know (or forgot), a haiku is a three line-long poem. The first line has five syllables, the second line has seven syllables, and the third line has five syllables.
These aren't hard to do at all, so I hope to see alot of them!
Um, unless you've recently suffered minor brain damage, you should know not to post anything above the rating of PG-13 (links are fine).

Quills scratch on parchment
A sound I've grown to relish
It is familiar
I look up and scowl:
Potter is writing a note
I rise from my desk
Accio parchment!
I open my mouth to read
And quickly close it
'Dear Professer Snape,'
A knot grows in my stomach
As I scan through it
The messy closings
'Love,' 'Sincerely,' 'Cheers,' 'Let's ******** by his name
xd They aren't usually supposed to be in a series like this (I don't think), but I was on a roll.
Did you get the last part? Harry didn't know how to close the letter.. ( whee ) So he ended up just writing his name.

um not to put myself in a place to correct you but im just adding that the original haiku's are about nature.

Traditional haikus are usually about seasons, and are opened with single words, usually adjectives, that describe the setting/feelings. I guess these would be pseudo-haikus, then.
