Here are prompts for the Latent Dissenter drawn by Teh Pandy and coloured by Mors the Meticulous. Choose one and fill it out. Within the next day or so, someone on the staff will read it. Checked back and look to see if your prompt has been approved.

It has come time to choose an ally. You have heard the Travellers and the Neutrals, the Balancers and of course the Dissenters. The Dissenters... You choose those who look out for them selves, who spread chaos, who delight in the twisting of your Land Beyond. Why?

Nyx Revelin sat on her doorstep, thinking once more about her choice of a group to ally with. It hadn't been hard for her to make a decision, once she had heard from all the groups. Both of Nyx's parents had been Dissenters, but she hadn't made her choice to be like them. They'd raised her to be independent and decide things for herself, and as soon as she was old enough, she'd gone out to choose a side.
The Neutrals had utterly bored Nyx, and their ways of avoiding the conflict had, in fact, left her rather appalled. To her, the path of life meant to choose a cause and stand for it, not shy away and hide from what was so obviously important.
Then there were the Travelers. They, at least, stood for a cause, but Nyx took their pacifism, their reluctance to fight, as a sign of weakness in their loyalty to their cause, and their peace-seeking ways did not appeal to the young woman at all.
The Balancers had, at first, piqued Nyx's attention in a good way, as they neither shied away as the Neutrals did, nor had the pacifism of the Travelers. However, their belief in balancing good acts with evil - "Or weak acts with strong ones," Nyx thought - had turned her off, and she had decided not to join.
Last, Nyx had met one of the Dissenters. His words had intrigued her from the start; war being a necessity, and that it was in humans' best interest to fight nature, to seek control over it - these things resonated strongly in the young woman's mind, drawing her quickly to the decision that this was the group for her, the place to learn to use her skills to their fullest potential.
As the strange breeze that Nyx was used to filled the air around her, neither warm nor cold, red horns briefly appeared on her head, vanishing along with the gust. With a smile, the young woman rose, dusting off her black pants, then set off back to where her fellow Dissenter had promised he'd be waiting, should she decide to join. Nyx suspected he'd known from her reactions what her answer would be.
