Yes, this is a generic character thread. However, this thread is more about series representatives than "who's your favorite character and why do you want them in Brawl". What other new series could be added into the mix, and who could represent that series? We've seen Lucas add to the Earthbound roster, and both Metaknight and King Dedede add to the Kirby roster, but what about the Yoshi Series? Or F-Zero? Ice Climbers? Dr. Mario? Or any others you like (including series that already have many characters, like Mario, Pokémon and the Legend of Zelda). NOTE* Because I know how gullible 80 percent of the VGD is, Captain Falcon, Ness, Jigglypuff, Dr. Mario, Pichu, Falco, Marth, Young Link, Ganondorf, Luigi, Mewtwo, Roy, and Mr. Game & Watch all still have yet to be confirmed. The images of those afformentioned characters are FAKE. I made them in paint, and if you start using them as proof of their confirmation, you're a dolt. Series new to Smash Bros. 1.Dr. Mario is his own series? 2.People want Dr.mario in? 3. PEOPLE WANT PIHCU BACK IN?! gonk As for new Franchises, off the Top off my head, I get the Animal Crossing Franchise. I don't think think needs any explanation. Second off the top of my head is the Joy Mech Franchise, featuring Sukapon(Skapon in Japan). He's becoming a lot more popular as time goes by. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0Yl10zrWocI can't say I want him, simply of how odd he is. He's a robot made out of floating meat chunks for god's sake. Then Comes the Pikmin franchise. Olimar would be interesting, using pikmin to fight. He's about the size of a dime, so if Olimar is in, "He's too big/small" isn't an excuse anymore. The Custom Robo Franchise is Possible with Ray, But I don't see it happening. Isn't it 3rd party? The Megaman Franchise is one of the most likely. Megaman is the most deserving last 3rd party.

As I said, I want clones to return, but I want them to be ALTERED enough to be their own characters. Ganondorf for example should be given a completely new set of attacks. He never worked as a Falcon clone. Also, for the Zelda series, I think if they found a balance betwen Minish Cap graphics and the rest of Brawl, I think Vaati (human form) would be a great character.

I say again: How could you make Dr.Mario any different than Mario? Absolutely no moveset potential AT ALL. Same with pichu, pichu is just a downgraded Pikachu. Anything Pichu can do, Pikachu can do, plus more. I dare someone to de-clone those two. Ganondorf and Falco would be rather easy to de-clone. Give Falcon some heavy weaponry and Ganondorf his sword. Vaati=Very yes.

How bout as an alternate costume, Sonic can be turned into his style from the 16 bit era? Brown eyes, rounder body, shorter spines, but the same attitude. Oh, and they could make the costume change change his voice as well, so when he's 16 bit style, he's voiced by Jaleel White (Sonic's original voice, AKA Urkle).

Geno at least deserves his own symbol. Although many would disagree about Geno not being third party (game made by squaresoft) the GAME was first party, therefore, sakurai considers him a first party character.
