Is it just me or is Biggs and Wedge just a waste of time? They seem like Comedy Relief, but they're kinda a little irritating because of their extreme overconfidence.

I liked them; I thought they were pretty funny... I never thought of them as being irritating.
I definitely wouldn't say that they're a waste of time because even if they aren't necessarily important characters, when they show up, they do progress the story, like when they're setting up the radio tower.

I think they look like stupid though they are doing their job... They add spark in the story so it won't be too serious..

Plus, they had to put Biggs and Wedge in the game somewhere. THey are in every single FF game, just like Cid or the Highwind.

I think in the future, though I'm sure it will never happen. I'd like to see Biggs and Wedge actually have an active role in the storyline. Like as if they'd taken the places of Fujin and Raijin or even Seifer's. I'd like to see them step up past comic relief status.

I think they are mostly in there to link the different Final Fantasy stories together, as they are in most, if not all, of the Final Fantasy games.

Wedge and Biggs are great. They give little something fun, are a bit annoying and give personality to the "enemy side".
And I love it for the Star Wars insider. wink
|

I thought they were funny...but they were also a complete waste of time when I just wanted to move on with the game. Like the scene when you enter Lunatic Pandora. All they do is talk...NOTHING ELSE!

About being overconfident. Just like our heroes, aren't they? Just other side of the fence and losing every time to our teenager-soldiers.

Over-confident? Well, maybe. but you have to admit, most of the time all they do is talk and stand still

There just there to lighten the mood so the game doesn't get to dull and serious so basically there, there for comedy relief. I had no problem with them I thought they were funny and they added a little bit of flare to the game. Without minor character like them how is the game going to progress so there not a waste of time they play an important part just like the main character.

I always respect the Biggs and Wedges. In this game they where quite funny to.

What can you say? The developer just likes Star Wars enough to keep putting their name inside of their. Until they come up with a space Final Fantasy, they will serve as a funny couple.

Well, what you have to understand is they pretty much needed a sacrafice, you know, cause you don't really expect them to die
