But seriously, welcome all members new and maybe not so new. This is Socat Stories, a guild named in haste. haha. We're a RP guild and community and we hope you enjoy yourself. All RP here takes place in the world developed by RoninZero and the Socat Stories staff, so we hope you like our settings and the like. There is a lot more I could say but let's move on to the other point of this thread.

The basic rules to follow.

1. Follow Gaia ToS

2. While we don't want to put a limit on language we also ask that you watch yourself. Swearing is allowed, people swear, it's just part of reality but swearing for the sake of swearing is not acceptable.

4. Be polite and understanding. There are many different styles of writing out there, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's bad.

5. No posting holder spots in the RP. In other words no posting without a post. It just causes too many problems.

6. It would be preferred if all artwork posted for a character had been drawn with that character in mind. So basically no using a picture of an already existing character and say that's what the character looks like. ((For example: Posting a pic of Kakashi from Kishimoto Masashi's Naruto and saying, "He looks like that." Another example: Finding a cool pic on deviant art and deciding your character looks like that.)) Trust me the artists don't like it.

7. Don't steal characters or art from other members, seems simple but I've seen it done. A persons character is their own intellectual property and along with all art done by a person is technically copyrighted the moment it's put into a medium, meaning not only is it immoral, it's illegal. Don't do it.

8. Otherwise, just don't take yourself too seriously and have some fun.
