Dont you hate it that Japan gets all the cool anime while we just sit here and watch like the left overs? honestly the anime shows we watch are like 2 years old in japan when they bearly come out here =(
so in this thread lets talk about how we are so behind the times when it comes to anime =(

Tell me bout it but what ticks me off the most is the Censorship that the US does to anime XD i have to watch the originals to get all the funny jokes and stuff they intend

They really dulled down the naruto in english.. MUCH better in japanese XD
Bleach is nearly the same XD although they stopped airing it where we are.. they are doing Deathnote.. but I think Bleach isn't playing because they don't want to get ahead of the manga in english..
DUDE!! I just read the naruto manga that just came out in japanese.. and all I can say is wow... just wow...

They dulled down all the great shows and the ones that aren't even inappropriate they didn't even dub (Not that I'm complaining much about that, english voices usually aren't that good.)
I mean, like Ultra Maniac, there really is no english version that I know of except in the Manga. Then there's the ones they totally tore apart and flushed down the toilet.
Like Sailor Moon, there was a lot more violence and it was a lot better before America got a hold of it. Thank god it went to DIC instead of 4Kids. DIC does a lot better job, still not that great though.
Unfortunately, that cannot be said for, yes I am going to use it as an example, Pokemon.
Pokemon was not meant for little kids to begin with. It was violent with swearing up the wall.
Then we got a hold of it and now it's like-> dfeakrljflkerjtlkerjles

Lol thats so true about Sailor moon and Pokemon XD but do realized that in Japan, parents let their kids watch shows that are inappropriate for us over here XD Sailor moon i believe it was the very last Episode, where that sailor moon chick was completly naked the whole entire episode XD. But kids were able to watch those eps in japan cause they are not as easily offended as they are here XD

its so sad to say, but pokemon went down the drain crying for anyone interested i found a great site though for anime movies and the shows and they arent dubbed they all have subtitles. idk if you know about it already lmao but its www.animethat.com i love it to death tee hee xd

I'm new here in the guild and would wanna thank maverick for letting me join.. THANKS A BUNCH!
Well anyways, I'm from Asia particularly in the Philippines but the animes that have been aired here were so behind as well.. Like I only get to know the latest through the net.. And yes, Japanese dubbed are way way better than English dubbed coz they somehow changes the way a line was delivered..
And I also read Naruto mangas though I haven't downloaded the latest yet.. I lack the time..

yeah, i would like them to bring certain anime's to america, one of which is buso renkin. The manga looks awesome, so id love to see the anime

and Yes Naruto was massively messed up with the english dubb XD. in the very first eps he keeps saying believe it ((So many times i had to turn it off)) where as in the Japanese version he only says it like twice in that ep O.o lol well lets see... what other animes have been ruined by American influence?

I was really bummed when the last episode of Inuyasha aired. I mean, so much talk has been going on about more Inuyasha episodes coming over to America but so far nothing has..
