Spell-Caster (otherwise known as a witch/wizard, sorcerer/sorceress, healer and other stuff by humans).
A Spell-Casters training in the Reaper Society is not included in the Reaper Academy. The reason for this being either you are born into being a Spell-Caster (A hereditary gene passed down through either the females or males of a family*.) Or your spirit and mind have such strength you have the ability to summon and control magic.
Spell-Casters are trained to be able control and improve their abilities. They are trained to use their powers in life, and in battle. For Spell-Casters that have too much trouble controlling their powers it is a choice of either learning to harness them, or shutting away their powers forever.
Spell-Casters are trained in the categories their form of magic takes. The following list is of five known categories of Spell-Caster magic:
Healers - Heal themselves and others
Protectors - barriers, guards against attacks of magical and nonmagical entities
Conjurers - creating
Fighters - Battle magic
Kinetics - move and control certain types of objects
After learning to control their powers the Spell-Casters can then join the Reaper Academy and either accompany a Reaper to their assignment or train to become a Reaper. Very few Spell-Casters decide to become Reapers. Most that do usually only reach being a first class, if that.
* A man who has the Spell-Caster gene pass down on the male side of the family and a female who has the Spell-Caster gene pass down from the Female side of her family cannot have a Spell-Caster child. The child either is born without magic or any power they have is so unbalanced it is unable to be summoned.
