I decided to use him as an experiment too. I tried out a new style of scales I'm working on again. He's the second piece I've done to have circular scales instead of more oval-arrow shaped ones. I also experimented with shading them. I need to work on the shading a lot...
Oh, and that parts of him that normally would have been white are black because that's how it looked in the colored version inside my head.
