2k7 Event (Orphan How-To):
So you want some event items? Well SURPRISE, you have to get orphans ready for adoption! Here's what you do...
1. Pick up an orphan (my first one was Timson, and he was... unique) Go here, the Event page
2. I'd suggest you start caroling. You carol by visiting the shops (one a minute it seems). Your orphan will babble (Sunako appologized a lot. A LOT). Occasionally your orphan will alert you to some trouble, read what they're asking for.
3. Head over to the Old Fishing Hole (Old Man Logan's Store). He has everything you need for your orphan. It's all around 20 gold, so there is some cost to you.
4. Buy the appropriate item then click on the "Help" link in your orphan's speech bubble. You'll be given the option to give them the item. You want to do that. Unless you're an orphan-lover. Make sure you aren't slow about it. Orphans are fickle little fellers...
5. Repeat until your orphan lets you know they're ready for adoption. head back to the event page and "Drop off Orphan". You'll get an item for the first, third, sixth and tenth orphans you help out.
