Okay, Ed is busy and I've been getting a lot of requests to update the story, so here it goes again:
02/21/2008 UPDATE
JOSH, AMARANTH, STEED, MASTERSON, PHANTOM, & NIGHTSHADE STORYLINE:After The meeting with Steed and everything, A window was broken and Camile got livid from it. Steed began to train Amaranth, but they got caught and she was beaten bloody by her sister Camile (Yeah they're sisters).
The Phantom saw this and wanted to do something about it.
Later on,Camile met
The Phantom, a mysteriously nefarious being whose purpose is unknown, for the first time. He breaks Camile's desk into millions of pieces and gets through her shield (which is impossible to anyone not under an expert level) and attacking her. When Camile gets Steed involved, the desk is normal, as if nothing had ever happened.
From there, Steed looked at Camile as if she were insane. This got Camile even more angry and she took a special deep hatred towards
The Phantom from there on.
Camile also began to suspect that Steed was somehow odd. Something wasn't quite right with him. At the same time, Amaranth hated Steed as well. She didn't want anything to do with him. She especially hated him because he never seemed to get angry at anything. Not even if she yelled at him, nothing.
And when she tried to hit him, Steed electrocuted her hair so that it was a perm. afro. As she screamed with anger and frustration, Steed went to Camile and wanted to know why Masterson's stuff wasn't being delivered.
Every time he mentioned it, she told him that it was being scanned. It soon became clear that they were going to not leave the school with the stuff. And from this, Steed became very suspicious of the Nightshades.
It was clear that there was some hostility between the Spektral students and the Daedalus ones slowly starting to develop. Some, like Kazuya, hated Spektral enough to call them "scum". Steed went into the village and ordered a hit on the person that told on him and Amaranth which blew up everything in smoke for them.
Steed bought a drink and watched television as the hit was being put into effect.
But something went wrong. The only thing actually in a perfect crime-Mitsuki, another Spektral student, got caught up in the crossfire and got shot with
The Phantom's special issued P.38 with energy reaction shots.
That is what saved Dorobo, the snitch, from getting killed and made The Phantom a terrorist within the school.
As this all happened, Josh befriended Amaranth and they became quick friends. He even gave her a new ability which allowed her to be clairvoyant.
From there, a whole ruckus was caused and Steed gave Mitsuki an antidote to stop her from dying from infection.
Steed paid
The Phantom, who almost was exposed from the incident.
Josh and Amaranth's friendship took the notice of Kazuya, who has an affection for Amaranth. Eventually, the two almost got into a confrontation. Josh broke his sword arm in several different places because he aimed his katana at him. But when Josh explained the situation to him, it brought a tear to Kazuya's eye. This spared him.
Eventually Josh and him become friends as well. He would eventually go on to heal his arm.
Amaranth walks out to the woods area and offers
The Phantom a jackpot of an amount if he can help kill her sister. And Amaranth also wants to be his assistant.
The Phantom agrees, but tells her to get more experience first. This causes her to go to Josh and go through training.
Eventually, the hour arrives though: Amaranth is taken against her own will to an old mansion to be put into a ritual that will make her part of her own family. This sounds good, but it isn't. The ritual calls for her to be gutted and have all of her blood taken out of her and be replaced with a special kind. She hates her family already, and they want her to become one of them? It makes no sense. But as the story unravels, it becomes more and more of a sinister plan to soon be revealed.
At the mansion though, The Nightshade's plans are thwarted. Sam's arm has a bomb attached to it and only by having three vials of Amaranth's blood can he get it off.
He does though and with the help of mysterious forces in the wood's that create such an intolerable amount of power that it causes the family to writhe in pain on the ground, they escape. Josh joins the party and they all go back to Spektral to escape.
At Spektral, Josh tells Amaranth the story of how Allen Masterson saved him and how he became his apprentice.
When he's finished, Amaranth is bewildered at their commodity. They become closer.
Josh quickly remembers what will happen in twenty minutes, so he leaves them all key cards to get into any room in the school. He himself returns to the school, where a pissed off Camile goes and does a head count to make sure everyone's there. And sure enough, they all are.
This makes her more mad because there are no accomplices.
Eventually though, Josh gets back to Spektral and when he does, a rock flies through the window requesting that the two meet up in Camile's office at midnight that night.
Steed, meanwhile, attends a charity ball and finds that his account has been frozen. This irritates him to the max.
When they get there, they go in disguise and play truth or dare to pass the time away.
The Phantom pays off Kenichi to throw a toga party to distract Camile. Eventually, it's soon midnight, and The Phantom is there and he tries to get Amaranth to kill her father. It backfires and they get trapped. While everyone's talking, Steed comes in and tells Josh to fuse with Amaranth and escape.
They do just that.
Steed and
The Phantom take the blunt of it by having the Nightshade family circle around them and put up a forcefield that makes it so that if they attack the shield, they will be the ones to get harmed.
The Phantom and Steed in unison, escaped by breaking a hole in the floor. They run like hell and leave the school by flying off into the night.
Camile was so pissed off that fire flew from her eyes in a ten foot length.
However, when they got to the school again, Steed got the worst news ever: His company and everything that he worked for now belonged to Camile. Worse yet, Camile correctly guessed that Steed is Allen Masterson in disguise.
This caused him to go up to his room and get drunk and high. Amaranth joined him and they soon were so drunk and high that the room was hotboxed and broken liquor bottles had become a small mound of glass.
And soon, Amaranth began to become attracted to him. This was a Steed that she never saw before. And Steed was so drunk that he wound up revealing his true identity-the person he'd been all along:Allen Masterson.
They wound up courting twice while in the mood, and when they woke up the next morning, Amaranth freaked out it was him. That she had gotten with him. That he was there. A legend before her.
And when he apologized to her about him being Steed, it was too much for her.
He called a meeting and that meeting scene is now is where we are at. Allen Masterson is making a phone call to his friend Dean and he also is getting taken aside by Amaranth who wants to help by stating a way to kill the old man in her family that is the master control of the power they have.
He appears before everyone and they freak out that it's actually him.
Dean arrives and they are currently welcoming him to the group.
