Recently dead souls, now angels, have been ascending to a city in the clouds. They have heard of a way to resurrect themselves. Some of the brave souls ((lame pun XD)) ventured to go in search of a way back. They have secretly gathered in Heather's home on the edge of the city to start off the quest.
There are two types of characters, both always active in the RP. Shinigami are the guards who try to stop some from leaving, also known as a soul reaper. Spirits are those who recently died and want to venture back to the land below. This RP is set early in the time line ((maybe even the earliest if anyone doesn't mind)) Any character you already have is welcome since they will resurrected eventually.

RULES:
~ anyone can add to the storyline, but please, no godmodding
~ we (by we, I mean Darkest and I) will allow up to 2 characters per person by color coding them
~ post what type of character your character is.
~ all posts must be at least 2 lines long.
~ have fun! blaugh
((oh, and we're always welcome to comments and new ideas (that's sort of a command to offer anything). Remember that darkest and I are new to this thing.))

Heather perched precariously on a stack of books in her cottage. She was meditating. She had tried to return to her home in heaven to visit her family but found that the city in the clouds was in her way. She had met an oddly curious person named Lin and was waiting for her to visit that day.

Lin abruptly burst through the door of the cottage, laughing. "Shinigami are clueless." She stated, sitting on another pile of books. She picked one up and flipped through it absentmindedly, memorizing its contents without even trying. "They didn't even notice that I'd done anything for a half-hour!" She hid a giggle. "I don't know how they manage to do their jobs so well."

Drexton was sitting high up in the rafters looking absently at the two down sitting on the books. He grinned at their comment about the so called 'soul reaper' but the grin soon vanished and he contnued to look out absently.

Lin glanced up and noticed Dexton sitting in the rafters. She couldn't tell who he was, so she threw the book she was holding at his head. "Come down from there.." She said, threateningly.

Dexton quickly and suddenly caught the book looking down at lin. He looked at the book then threw it back down onto one of the other piles.

Lin flipped up into the rafters next to Dexton. She smiled at him slightly. "C'mon, don't make me drag you down..." she said playfully.

"fine.." he said smiling. Dexton jumped down from the rafters looking around at the room then looking back up at lin.

"Good." Lin said. She leapt down from the rafters, landing without making a sound. "A fight would bring the Shinigami here."

"GOds know they haven't had enough excitement today." Lin said happily, reclaiming her seat on the stack.

"hmm... no." Lin said. "I already gave them some trouble on the way here, and we're waiting on the rest to get here before we do anything stupid."
