I've always loved blogging. And I'm a bit of a camera whore. Only I don't like to take pictures of myself, so you won't find many of those here. There are much more interesting things in this world than my crazy face.
Anyway, here you will find some of my favorite pictures, my daily goings on (when stuff worth mentioning happens), probably a few rants. Movie and book reviews if I ever get a spare moment to sit down and finish watching or reading something. Basically, whatever I feel like.

Party Shmarty...
Company Christmas party tonight. Excuse me, 'holiday' party. Run by Jews. Can't call it a Christmas party even though 99% of us who work there celebrate Christmas instead of Hanukkah. Not exactly looking forward to it... These days I don't have much motivation to impress people whose opinions don't matter to me in the slightest.
Pics of the latest ice storm coming soon. When I find the disk to load the camera program onto this new hard drive.

Yada Yada Yada
Skipped the party. Played hooky. cool Stayed in and read Romeo and Juliet. Again. I'm on a serious Shakespeare binge at the moment. Shakespeare In Love was on the movie channels the other day. Good movie.
Christmas this year promises to be eventful. Christmas eve we always go to my aunt's house and Christmas day we go to my grandparents. I see my grandparents every weekend, but I only see my cousins and aunt and uncle on major holidays. Even though they only live about a half hour from me. Whatever, we don't have much in common, other than blood. I have about a million great aunts and uncles that I've only met like once, but only two first cousins and their parents. My dad has just the one sister, and my mom's an only child. Except not really, but she was adopted, and doesn't keep in contact with her birth family.
So anyway. I'm pretty sure my cousin C is pregnant. And no one in the family knows about it yet. It says she is on her myspace. She'd been joking about needing baby stuff when asked what she wanted for Christmas, but then said she was only kidding around. Yeah. Right. I knew then it was a possibility. And then her space confirmed it. She's been wanting a baby forever. Married or not. She is currently 20, and not.
She's the dramatic kind that would just LOVE to make a baby announcement on Christmas.

Shakespeare in Love is an amazing movie. Your cousin sounds similar to a couple of mine. But my family is huge.

I'm not sure if it means anything to you, but I read your wall of text and I completely understand certain aspects. There isn't anything I can say or do to make it any better for you. I've had a similar problem before, myself. It isn't easy learning where you stand and how to act about it. In fact, it (forgive me for using the term) broke my heart.
I'm sure you understand how I felt. That was several months ago, going on 2 thirds of a year and I'm still feeling it now.
All I can really do is wish you the best of luck and hope you work it out.
Merry Christmas.

I'm a hazard to myself.
So, I was sleepwalking last night. How do I know? All the light fixtures in my room are missing their bulbs. Yep, they're nowhere to be found.
Chalk that one up alongside spreading towels out across the living room floor, being found multiple times, fully clothed, holding my pillow in the bath tub, hoarding N64 controllers under my pillow, and being found asleep on the roof, in a laundry basket, on the hallway floor, and on the floor of my sisters' room.

haha rofl lolz- reminds me of my sister, we had to put bells on the doors so we knew when she was making her sleepy-escape. Although, sleepwalking is generally a sign of high stress... ? Perhaps there's something else going on that is causing this for you. But I'm not discouraging the stories, keep 'em coming!- they're funny as hell. biggrin

Pregnant Cousin Update
It's true. C is pregnant. I met her boyfriend on Christmas Eve. Surprisingly he seems like a really decent guy. C hasn't been known for the wisest of choices when it comes to her taste in men... But this one definitely shows promise. He's uber excited about this baby, which is a good sign I suppose. He seems very sweet, and definitely cares a lot for my cousin. So I've given myself leave to be happy for them.
I hope it lasts, I really do. She says this one is different, and for the sake of their child I hope it's true.

The One With All the PicsMy literally screwy elbow. Inside:

Outside:

Yeah. I got copies of the x-rays. They were too cool to pass up. Morbid? You bet.
My eye:

Me and my cat:

I didn't know my mom had the camera, and I was talking as she took this picture, so that's why I have such an odd expression on my face. I don't have any other pictures of myself on the computer so this will have to do for now xD.

Hurray for Insomnia! (No sarcasm intended.)
It's 4am. Can't sleep. Old news. So I come downstairs, get on the compy. Sign onto AIM. And guess what. The Boy is on. So we start talking. You know, just arbitrary chitchat. And then I heard the best thing I've heard in awhile. "I miss you a lot." "I want to kiss you." That's not the good part. I mean, it's good. But it's normal. It's usual. I'm used to it. I expect it even. ... "Like, only you." ... It's the first time he's actually put it like that. Into words. Only me.
