The time of Potter Weasly and Granger has passed. Most of their escapades have drifted into rumour. Their teachers passed into the annals of Hogwarts History and the school has become what it once was a beacon for learning not a battle ground.
Since the fall of Voldemort tension amongst the wizarding community has been at a high. Constant rumours that the Dark Lord is not dead or that another has risen to take his place and lead the free Death Eaters against the ministry. But these are only rumours, unsubstantiated claims made around the water cooler or over a cup of Coffee.
Yet the tension stems from a by product of the small coup from the Dark Lord. A schism is growing in the community, rumblings of something, there has begun rumblings of a movement to comply with the Muggle parliament for a pulbic Wizarding registry. They believe that it is the responsibility of the wizarding community, especially after the major Muggle events cause by Voldemort, that the Muggle population has a right to know who amongst them are wizards and be educated to the knowledge of wizards and witches so that if a new Dark Lord were to rise he would face resistance from both the Muggle and Wizarding community.
In opposition to this others believe that revealing themselves and forcing a registry of wizards will only create danger for. These people believe that continuing to hide magic from the Muggles is the safest route for all parties involved.
However, for now they are nothing more then rumblings talk of what may be in the future.
