so my wonderful and amazing friend (dead_filmaker) did a play piercing session with me for a class photo project. this is my second play piercing session ever, and it was loads of fun! these are not the photos for the project (they are much better than these) but i thought i'd post 'em because...because...well, because i'm very giddy and stoked about them.

26 needles in all (we were running out, next time we'll have more...)

discussion: have you ever done play piercing? what are your thoughts? would you ever consider it?

Where did you get your hypodermics for this? I am having a hard time finding a supplier that will sell them to someone without some sort of medical licence. I am a tattoo artist/piercer, but our suppliers don't carry them.

@ Cinna: not much, actually. when you're not piercing anything thick, tough or packed with nerves, the needles slide in like buttah. it actually winds up feeling really cool and surprisingly pleasant. then again, to each their own.

@ Toxic: painfulpleasures.com - the needles are good, they ship pretty fast and it's really inexpensive. we also get all our clamps, piercing needles and so on from here. the only thing we don't use it for is jewelry, since anatometal is a local company. we just buy from there.

is it just my hands, or due to the cold, or what, but hands seem to make the most amazing crunching sound when pierced. it would be disconcerting if it weren't so funny. same with you?
