So work called me this morning at about 8AM with weather related issues that they wanted me to come in and deal with. I refused, at first. I wanted sleep and had stuff to get done around here.
I finally gave in around noon, ventured out in the snow and freezing rain, to work for all of two and a half bloody hours. Not worth it.
Returned a couple films (Coffee and Cigarettes, The Bourne Ultimatum) which were a day late, so that cost me ten bucks. To have two films for two days. I should have just gone to feckin' Blockbuster.
So of course, moron that I am, I returned them on my way home from work today and rented more (Black Hawk Down, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Saving Private Ryan). Because obviously I need to rent more overpriced films. This involved my stepping in a few ankle deep puddles and wandering around with soaking wet trousers until I was finished with errands. Now I'm home and watching said films (sort of) and only vaguely entertained.
Actually, I'm more annoyed at gaia and firefox giving me issues (which I've finally fixed) and now it seems no one's actually around. Figures.
So yeah, not like this was a terribly interesting summary of my day, but it's not quite a rant either, and it's not all about films. So it's here. Being all general like and s**t. Post: *Generalizes with generalosity*.
As for the films: Coffee and Cigarettes was interesting. Dragged a little, but I enjoyed it. Bourne was a bit disappointing, but then again I am reading the book, so it's bound to be.
Black Hawk Down wasn't as entertaining as it began. But it has an interesting cast. Butch Cassidy et al, is very long. o_O It keeps going to this strange music and scenery or still shots and I think it's ending. I should probably pay more attention. Ah well. Oh s**t, it's doing it again. Someone explain this film to me. I've seen Saving Private Ryan, of course, but I wanted something entertaining that I didn't have to pay attention to. Probably should have watched it first. Ah well.
So... What did you accomplish today?

I worked for 7.5 hours at my dead-end pre-college job, and then came home and mused for my girlfriend.
Who isn't online. D:
And now I'm going to fiddle with my comic script submission to Dark Horse.

Went x-mas shopping for my family, then went home and did nothing while my parents went to a party and every once and a while I go out to shovel the snow. Bored as heck and yet I only get to spend minimum time on the computer on lousy connection.

My day was tiring. I went to work at 10:00 am, got off around 2:30 pm. Then went home and dressed down to finish helping a friend move into a new apartment. Got finished just before 6:00 pm. Then, went to my boyfriend's house to hear him b***h about Casper and school. I ordered us some Chinese food, which I couldn't finish earlier, so I'm eating some more right now. I'm now listening to him play on his Nintendo DS. I think it's that Dogz game or something like that.
My day's not over, but hopefully, it will end happily. If my boyfriend isn't too tired from pushing buttons. wink

Slept until 1pm, then worked on homework for two hours(which I'm still not done with), and then watched TV for the rest of the day. Normal lazy Saturday pretty much. And now I'm going to bed. And oh yea, for lunch, I had one half of a bacon wrap, and the the other for dinner.

For the first part of my day, see the "Somebody shoot me!"-rant in the subforum. It went better from then on, however. A colleagues girl-friend was visiting, so we all drove to my hometown to visit the Medieval Christmas Market. It is very nice as it's not the usual fare... no electric lights, only candles and torches, people in period costumes performing old arts and crafts, medieval music and Spectaculum. We had a nice stroll, drank some Glühwein (in my case: hot Grapejuice) and bought a small bag of roasted chestnuts we shared. Met up with mon chere who came in late from work, then went home and dozed off cuddling on the couch watching a silly gameshow called "Schlag den Raab". Raab won, as usual, and the poor candidate had to go home with nothing after almost two hours of the modern equivalent to jumping through burning hoops. Poor sod.

Went to a christmas market and put up lights and did something else.
I think.
I took a nap.
OH. I went to work at the library for an hour and a half.
EDIT: I also pined for this guy I like. He was working for a long while and then he went to a friend's house for the night. He wasn't online all day long. /whine

Ffaux Pas Tell him to put the game down right now. o:
Also, I require food. I swear, I have the only boyfriend in the world who would rather play games with a game than a girl ... or boy.

Oh... Today was... Entertaining to say the least. Had it's ups and downs.
So first, there was me being woken up at five in the morning by fifteen squealing fifth graders. My mother just had to let my little sister have a sleep over, didn't she? God... I can't wait to go to college...
Then, there was me realizing I had to wake up anyway because I had a stupid thing for school in an hour or two. I took a shower and half way through it decided to spazz on my and scald me. I got out and looked out the window. Snow and ice. Of course. Which meant I couldn't wear what I wanted to. Then I sat at my computer, complaining to some friends about me really not wanting to go. And then I get a call; the thing was off so yay!!
So I figured, good time to catch up on school work. I glance at my clock, it's not even noon. I'll rp and chat until one and do some work. Next time I look at my clock? Four. In other words 'Crap'.
I find out that I have more work than I thought I did and just as I sit down, my best friend calls and speaks to me for a half hour about her discovery of my favorite book which I told her to read months ago.
Then, after getting off the phone, I discovered a new roleplay that I had to join. Two hours later, I finally realized I had to at the very least write an essay. That was around eight. It's 10:30 now and I just finished it.
And now I realized I still have a crapload of work to do and study. So yeah. My fun filled day. (Although the scool thing getting cancelled was nice.)

You mean... You can do that????? eek
Time just flies whenever I'm doing something I want to do. And then it's generally a bad thing because I should have been doing things I don't want to be doing...

Unfortunately I'm not doing things I want to be doing. Though that means time doesn't fly.
