While in the Twilight's Asylum Guild, you are expected to follow the following rules:
It is here an only here where you can span, advertise, bump, etc...
Gaia's ToS and R&G
Gaia's Terms of Service and Rules and Guidelines should always be followed in this guild and through out all of Gaia.
Conduct
Be respectful to each other. DO NOT STEAL ARTISTS WORKS!!! This includes all poems, songs, stories, art work, etc! Also, do not flame, yell, harrass, or be hurtful to anyone else in the Twilight's Asylum Guild. This includes guild moderators, members, oldies, or newbies, and everyone in between. If you feel like you simply cannot post anything nice, then please just refrain from posting.
Post in the Appropriate Place
Each subforum has a description to inform you what does and does not belong there. While Moderators do have the ability to move topics between the subforums, repeated posting in the wrong subforums by any member is wrong and will be considered spam. If you'd like a thread moved, please PM either the guilds Captain, Vice-Captain(s) or Moderators, to let us know.
Post Your Own Original Work
Simple. Whatever you post has to be original work. If it is not 98-100% your own creation, we ask that you tell us the true author or artist of the peice. If you do not know who the original creator is, then say so, but also add it is not yours. DO NOT STEAL. I know I already said that before, but Imean it. Stealing is a criminal offense and therefore illegal.
Bumping
Bumping is not allowed in the forums or threads unless specified. Constant, repeated, and nonstop bumping will be considered spam.
Attempt to Use Proper English
Being partially and mostly a writers guild, we here in the Twilight's Asylum Guild, please request you use proper speaking and writing techniques. We aren't English and Grammar teachers, and we understand that some people aren't native speakers of English while others simply aren't good at punctuation. We don't expect perfection, but we do expect an honest effort. No netspeak or leetspeak will be tolerated, nor will various "cute" styles of posting such as aLtErNaTiNg CaPs, bolding or italicizing entire posts (unless your posting is set up that way in all posts), or never-ending strings of emoticons. Compliance with this rule will make life a lot easier for our large non-native-English-speaker population as well as Moderators and our regular members. Not to mention it will help all of us understand what the hell you're trying to say! It's useless to post when no one can read what you have to say.
Stay On Topic
Kidnapping threads and dragging them off-topic for your own purposes will not be tolerated. It is natural for discussions to evolve, but it is not natural for them to take 90-degree turns on a dime into a completely unrelated direction just because you feel like it. Keep them in relevance to the subject matter if at all possible.
Topics here can be about anything, as long as it's clean.
Learn to Search
Those in this guild, do not reallt appreciate "repeat topics"or whatever your terms for them may be. In short, some topics just have a way of popping up over and over again. Please learn to search! Just take a few moments to look through the first few pages to see if your topic/question has already been addressed in another thread. If it has, then please read and then post in that thread. If it has not, then go ahead and create your own, new topic. Learning to search will enable us to prevent having multiple threads on one topic, thus helping the guild run more smoothly.
Read Stickies and Announcements
One would be suprised, but Announcements and Stickies actually answer alot of questions. It is greatly recomended that all members read the Announcements and Stickies before they begin posting in the forums.
