I've still been struggling with my depression, but now things have taken a turn for the worst. One of my few lifelines, a dear friend of mine died yesterday. I just can't deal with this much longer. I'm tearing myself apart with 'what if's and if only's. Is there anything that i can do to break this? any way I could stop it, without having to...stop?

Wow, that's a really hard thing to deal with. You might want to talk to your doctor about upping your meds for a while for your safety. Try to gain comfort from the community of people who must be mourning your friend. I hope that you heal soon.

Your so strong just to cope with depression alone. I suffer with depression but something big happened like that to me two and I know how hard it is. Please if you ever feel u need someone to talk to talk to me because I could do with a friend. You are a very strong person.

I'm so sorry about your friend sad

The best thing I think, is to talk with someone you trust (maybe your Doctor, or family member), and just let your emotions run free, don't bottle anything up, have a good cry.

It doesn't sound like a fun thing to do, but I think it would help.

I am sorry to hear about your lose. Perhaphs expressing your feelings to a family member or your doctor could make you feel better. If you keeping thinking of the what if's then you are going to feel alot of regret and it will make your grief alot harder to deal with.

Thank you all.
I've been talking to my friends, as my family did not know this person.
Things are getting a little better, but I'm still holding on to things...
