There are many answers to the question but i narrowed it down to a few.
+Birth of Jesus
+A Hoilday to get presents from Santa
+Another reminder like thanks giving to spend time with family
+I dont celebrate chritmas
I go with the reminder, since gifts are just for b-days xd
I rather see every one arguing and figthing then just a bunch of people braging of how cool their gifts are. Theres nothing wrong with giving gifts, just the gift is not the only thing that you should care about. Its the people and the time you spend together.

IT veries from each year.
One year my mom will do a Jesus Theme...The next with family.
The one after with LOTS of presents.
This year didn't celebrate much. Opened like 4 gifts then ate a normal dinner and was done with X-mas. gonk

ninja when i was a kid all that mattered to me were the presents, but soon i grew up and the presents didn't matter to me, what mattered to me was the birth of jesus and spendind time with my girlfriend, and my family.
