 A crisp winter breeze buffeted Qin's mane and tail. He inhaled deeply, enjoying the sting of the cool winter air in his lungs. Exhaling, he watched his breath steam in the chilly air. All around him the snow sparkled in the sunlight.
"Snow snow snow!" Qin sang into the empty air. He pranced along a snow bank, his feet starting to numb from standing in the snow. He hopped back on the path and continued to walk on, ears pricked for any forest sounds.

Adaya: *trots into the meadow* Brrr... I despise of snow. But at least it's not weather foals like. *spots Qin* oh, who do we have here?

((Edit: I'll be back in an hour or so, sorry. Family thing -groans-))
Qin paused a moment when he heard a crunch of hooves on snow from the other side of the meadow. Keeping his ears pricked, he trotted curiously over the small hill in front of him, his tail and mane flowing in the wind.
Standing on the hill, he could see the whole meadow, and looking down, a blue dappled mare. He called out in greeting, "Hello there!" He braced himself against the hard ground under the puffy snow as he fell/walked down the hill.

Adaya: *looks down to see an unfamiliar stallion* Greetings. *tumbles down the hill* great, a witness to my clumsiness. *dshakes herself to get snow off and held her head high*

Qin chuckled a bit as the mare slid down the hill, a bit like he had just did. He watched as she shook herself off, then said, "Greetings, you may call me Qin" He dipped his head in a sign of greeting. Rising again, he looked the mare over, she seemed, proud. Much like Hsien-Ko. He chuckled at the thought.

Qin smiled, this young mare was quite amusing. He pawed a small hole in the snow, breaking a hard layer of frost. He said to Adaya, "Oh, I am not laughing at you, no. I am laughing because you remind me much of Hsien-Ko" Though Hsien was much more frosty than Adaya, but still proud.
Qin filled the hole in the snow back up, he didn't want to step in it and twist an ankle.

Qin laughed heartily, and replied, "Yes, yes indeed" He flicked his tail, brushing off some of the snowflakes that had settled on it. He said more quietly, "Hsien is one of my very best friends"
He didn't feel the need to mention the feelings he had for her. Those were private. He did not want to appear rude though, and he wanted to find out more about Adaya; she was very interesting, so he asked, "Care to take a walk with me?"

Picking his way along the icy trail, being careful not to slip and fall, Qin asked, "So Adaya, what were you doing in the meadow" He pricked his ears and pranced a bit as a breeze picked up again, ruffling his mane and tail.

Qin pondered Adaya's answer. He liked having his own little quiet places too. He answered her, "I was just out for a little morning adventure, playing in the snow, looking for winter flowers. That sort of thing." He paused to pick out a rock that had lodged itself inside his hoof.

Adaya smiled as she looked around at the beautiful snow. Then, something caught her eye. She saw a small pink flower amidst the snow, and trotted over to pick it up, she stashed it in Qins mane while he looked down at his hoof.

Qin lifted his head, what had just placed itself in his mane? Turning his head, he saw out of the corner of his eye a pretty pink flower. Looking over to Adaya he grinned, and said playfully, "You know, if your going to put flowers in my mane they should at least complement my eyes." He winked at her to show he was joking.
